Picked dd & ds up from Playschool this afternoon, neighbours ds as well - she had an urgent appt she'd forgotten and it was arranged for me to collect him & keep him with me until she came back.

Walking out the door and up the slope outside the Playschool with 2 in the double buggy and 1 child walking, a Father comes out of his car at the top of the small slope, he has no top on and a light pair of shorts - it is damn obvious the Father has an erection and he strolls down the slope with his friend. I walk up and past the car where his gf is sat with their 1yo baby, she smiled at me and I continued walking. We are friendly enough - they live opposite me on the cul de sac I live in.

But bloody hell, she sat in the car while he, with the erection goes down to Playschool to collect their 3yo Dd?!
Why didn't she get out of the car if he was so obviously aroused?!!!

I walked down to the shops and as I was going in he was just behind me, and he still had the erection (3-4 mins after collecting his Dd and putting her in the car with his gf)...

Wtf??!!!!

Haven't laughed as much as I have at this thread in ages. So funny.

My 73 yr old father was diagnosed with kidney stones last week, and until this thread I never realised that erections are a common side effect of such a condition. I have told my mother to trim her ladygarden in anticipation.

His kidney stone is apparantly very big so I wonder if anyone can advise whether there is a correlation effect that I should prepare her for too?

LynetteScavo · 03/06/2009 14:28

I told DH ab out this OP this morning.

He response was "So?" and he walk off.

Nw I'm wondering if he walks around with erections. If so I've never noticed.

EvenBetaDad · 03/06/2009 16:05

Lynette - its because we are all really very embarrased about it. I would always make an excuse to leave the room even now if I was alone with DW. I hope she would not notice.

TubOfLardWithInferiorRange · 03/06/2009 20:14

I would assume then, that the girlfriend's state of being, whatever that may have been, was even more embarrassing than the dad's since she remained in the car.

PlumBumMum · 03/06/2009 20:20

Really evenbetadad? Even if its only you and dw?

TubOfLardWithInferiorRange · 03/06/2009 20:30

I'm thinking some type of wardrobe malfunction...

lucyellensmumisgreat · 03/06/2009 20:40

Glad to see nothing changes

lucyellensmumisgreat · 03/06/2009 20:43

Am i the only one who would be more offended by the lack of upper attire - its so common, men walking around without shirts on - and its usually the skinny wretches anyway

EvenBetaDad · 03/06/2009 20:57

PlumBum - oh yes, even with DW and am sure lot of men feel this way .

I suspect from his response that LynetteScavo DH was a bit embarrased when she asked and hence his 'So?' and walking off. I can tell from responses to this thread that quite a lot of women do not know it happens involuntarily.

Having been in hospital with bladder/prostate/kidney problems myself to have it happen involuntarily in front of a female nurse is truely awful.

PlumBumMum · 03/06/2009 22:04

I can understand around female nurses etc, but then dare I say it dh nd I have a come chat to me while on the loo relationship.
no slippers in our house, just an early riser alarm call for me

PlumBumMum · 03/06/2009 22:06

Although I too was amazed to realise that some posters didn't realise that it happened involutarily, I thought that was taught in basic sex ed, and thats coming from a convent school girl!

Overmydeadbody · 03/06/2009 22:16

I'm sorry Claire but this is hilarious!

YABU.

Erections are not dangerous or disgusting. Not when covered with clothes.

Every man gets them.

Chill babe.
