... In any form. I'm not asking for all his money to go off and spend as I like. But SOMETHING towards his keep would help. And how do I ask him NOW after we have lived together on and off (more off than on TBH) for nearly a year?? HELP someone. Need kick up the backside or somehting please??

Sounds like I'm on some sort of binge! "I ahve eaten all the white chocolate in the county and am about to finish the last of South Australia's wine reserves!"

Oh, if only!

Nope. I have lost half a stone, developed afternoon sickness and a raging case of 'Oh why me!' followed closely by 'swift kick up the bum-itis'

Grumpy - very glad you are doing well! I was having a whinge about my thoughtless dh on another thread, and then fumble apppeared saying something like" why is it that evetone wants to leave their husbands on this website ffs"

Actually that is is not in my plans, but i did comment that at least my DH is not as bad as Grumpy moos "useless fecker" which might have bemused some of my supporters on that thread.

GrumpyMoo · 05/05/2009 22:06

oh porto can I apologise for being, even in a small way, instrumental in bringing fumble into this forum! I'm sooo sorry!

OP posts:
PortoPandemico · 05/05/2009 22:30

Don't worry - I have told it to feck off.

GrumpyMoo · 05/05/2009 22:35

Porto I tried that! Cost me £80 and no end of headaches! Telling soemnone to f off just doesn't work in this day and age where it all concerns a lawsuit!

I know. I'm totally pissed at my DH, I wish at the mo it would only cost 8- quid to get rid of him. Instead it is MANY thousaand euros that I don't have at the moment.

GrumpyMoo · 05/05/2009 22:47

Ok. But let's face it he cant be any WORSE that my exDP>> Surely?? Equal footing maybe but surely not worse?

[sgudder emoticon] It's just not possible!

Now how to lure fumble back here?? Lay bait of MAJOR benfit fraud going on? I ahev been on DWP for 20 years ans skiing every weekend? Or on INCAP for 20 years for no reason? Just a guess!

OP posts:
GrumpyMoo · 05/05/2009 22:48

damn fat fingers! It was a shudder emoticon I was after!

OP posts:
PortoPandemico · 05/05/2009 22:55

No, he defintiely NOT worse than your ex. I hate him at this very moment cos he is an arse. But generally speaking he is a Good husband and father. hence not in the same league....I have to admit....I'd willingly tell you to get rid of ex as he is obviouslly a waste of space...yet maybe I live a posher house, but but mine is equally shite! And he's still here. Double standards or what?

jajoly · 05/05/2009 23:00

GrumpyMoo,
I am sorry that you are going through this.

He is most definitely taking advantage, and you know that.

More important, however, is your low self esteem (after being in a controlling relationship) that has allowed you to be sucked into this "not great" relationship. It is abuse of a different form. He has no respect, as he happily lives off you (parasite).

I am sure there are lots of plus points to the relationship...

But I especially worry on your behalf as you are accomodating his contact with his children so easily without him really making you feel like you are all one family pulling together under diverse circumstances... I wonder if it is just an easy life for him and you need to take back control of your life? It seems to centre around him and his children's needs and not your own family or the extended set up you have.

Just my thoughts. You need support to get through what happened to you in your last relationship so you can have the tools to build a better one for the future.

Hope you keep posting, don't run away. J x

jajoly · 05/05/2009 23:07

OMG - new poster cock up

Only my second post and just realised I only read page 1 - not page 18

Very sorry GrumpyMoo, both for the circumstances and my post-haste post.

Hope you are keeping your chin up J xxx

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 06/05/2009 01:42

rofl@ new poster cock up. Welcome, jajoly!

caramelwaffle · 06/05/2009 03:07

Welcome, jajoly, to the wellie thread .

GrumpyMoo · 06/05/2009 08:10

Hi jajoly I have to admit 19 pages of this thread is a bit like hard work1 I can barely keep up with it myself!

caramel 3? . o'clock . in the morning?? Wow, you sleep as badly as I do.

Yes folks. The days are looking slightly better. Have paid rent up to date. Minor miracle there. Will go off to pay water bill up to date later. Hate debt. However small some people might consider it. And then fingeres crossed I can get some food in on friday! Social whirl or what??

Still on the lookout for bright red wellies..... with ankle alarms.... Anyone?

caramelwaffle · 06/05/2009 09:19

Good morning, Grumpy. Good to "see" you feeling better. No luck here with the red wellies. Maybe Oldlady can help there.
Ahhhh, paying bills. Annoying yet satisfying

GrumpyMoo · 06/05/2009 09:59

Yep. As is the washing up. And bed making. And hoovering. And washing clothes....

I try to delegate as much as possible and it is good ofr the kids to have chores! I keep telling them this, not sure they buy it!

happy days.

Morning! Fumble has been giving me advice on my relationship!

caramelwaffle · 06/05/2009 10:46

Hahahaha That really makes me laugh PortoP

caramelwaffle · 06/05/2009 10:49

Along the lines of "you are mad, bad, sad - and should be grateful...." perhaps (?)

Hahaha

PortoPandemico · 06/05/2009 11:23

Spending all day playing WOW is normal apparently so I should leave DH to it!

GrumpyMoo · 06/05/2009 12:37

I just love fumbles' logic. Sorry porto, had to serve it right back. I promise I don;t normally hijack all these threads!!! Am off to hijackers anonymous first thing...

OP posts:
OldLadyKnowsNothing · 06/05/2009 13:38

I can't find any with ankle alarms, but there are some rather cool and groovy red wellies here.

GrumpyMoo · 06/05/2009 14:17

oooooo oldlady! heaven! Youa re so clever. Now to find the brand thta do the ankle alarms too.... Maybe Primark? Or posh ones from M&S?

OP posts:
PortoPandemico · 06/05/2009 17:48

Grumpy, has your exH got a new partner? Could Fumble be her?

GrumpyMoo · 06/05/2009 18:54

It's possible porto but they live 100 miles away form us. So not quite in the same place. i think fumble is a co-op of my ex and his wife.

The postings on your thread were written differently. More like his less literate wife. Grr to both of them. And if it isn't either of them then whoever it is should be deeply ashamed of themselves!
