... In any form. I'm not asking for all his money to go off and spend as I like. But SOMETHING towards his keep would help. And how do I ask him NOW after we have lived together on and off (more off than on TBH) for nearly a year?? HELP someone. Need kick up the backside or somehting please??

Stercus Thank you for the comment

fumble · 03/05/2009 22:08

Carmel what are you on about? was the mortgage being paid was the wife going to work? what was that situation?

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 22:08

Fumble, as you say anything on here could be true or could be entirely fictitious. Perhaps you're not Grumpy's ex. Perhaps you are. Perhaps you're Grumpy's ex's ex-wife, perhaps you're not. Leaving all of that aside, why do you think it is right, in any situation, that when Person A has money coming in, and Person B has money coming in, that Person A should pay for everything and Person B should pay for nothing, while demanding the best seat in the house?

fumble · 03/05/2009 22:11

Becuase THEY SHOULD BE PEOPLE C claiming together and getting money as a couple!!

Forget who has what it's a liberty thats all!

Or was it that Grumpy didnt want that i.e. controlling XH so wanted HER MONEY and that would have posed a problem if she went as a couple wouldnt it?

fumble · 03/05/2009 22:12

You are Right Old Lady who knows what actually happens on these things!

StercusAccidit · 03/05/2009 22:12

Lizziemun ..... bang on! Obv some major ishooos there

... I too had a cocklodger, OP. Its hard to see them for what they are when you are with them.

I paid for EVERYTHING while he brought car parts and xbox games.

I did the childcare for his 2 DC's, while he played xbox, xbox, xbox.

They were HIS kids till it came to cooking/washing clothes/replacing things they had broken/yadda yadda/cleaning up their sick.....

Now he is GAWN
And i am like although had a wibble this morning when he popped round with them to visit DS, and he was like 'Oh you didn't like them being in bed with us, why didn't you tell me" Erm, cos i would have if you hadn't been staring at the xbox you TWAT....

He wants me to tell him everything i thought was wrong, so he can put it right..and try again...

Over my still twitching corpse will he get a chance to screw ME over again.

And it took a lot of MN support, and the near death of my DS for me to finally chuck him.

You have done the right thing, cut your losses and wave bye bye to cocklodging misery guts.. stretch out on YOUR sofa have a david bowie haircut, whatever

WELL DONE!!

mamas12 · 03/05/2009 22:13

Oh dear, have been lurking and I can't believe the fumble tangent.
Where is grumpymoo? Do you think fumble is your ex?
Are you okay.
Come back and do not engage with fumble and perhaps if everyone just ignores fumble that he/she will go away.
reminds me of the N1 nutter

StercusAccidit · 03/05/2009 22:13

Fumble are you AKA jeremy kyle? lol

Not that i watch it...

PortoPandemico · 03/05/2009 22:14

"Fairlady re read Grumpys post about her controlling XH not allowing her to spend anything and then later on writes that now money is HER MONEY!"

I'm wondering now that your nothing to do with the cocklodger, but something to do with the exH, who according to Grumpy, is paying maintenance for HIS children.

You still never explained how in detail, in your opinion, Grumpy is screwing the system?

Maybe Fumble is N1?
Congratulations Moo. You've been so brave for your kids. Time to start living again. Get a permed mullet if you want - it's your head.

Poppity · 03/05/2009 22:19
StercusAccidit · 03/05/2009 22:19

Noooooo

Deffo a david bowie

My mum did that once and my grandad FREAKED apparently.....her hair was all the way down to her bum b4 she had it done

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 22:20

If Grumpy feels in any way under attack by this fuckwit person, I'd just like to say - again - that Grumpy did absolutely the right thing ditching that waste of space, and I hope that she's not been driven off this thread but is enjoying a relaxing evening in the freedom and space of her reclaimed home.

fumble · 03/05/2009 22:21

Or perhaps just perhaps my work DOES involve Benefits??? Wrong to the poster who advised you can have a three or four night stop over ! you do not have to be seen living together so long as you are seen together on a regular basis then YOU ARE a couple!

Benefits ARE clamping down on this very thing LESSON TO YOU ALL!

GrumpyMoo · 03/05/2009 22:21

Sorry for dramatic pause! I go to answer phone (brother in far flung spain asking am I ok? In repsonse to email I sent him earlier today) and come back to find??

WOW. You guys have ALL made me cry. A lot. MOre kleenex lorries needed here! I include fumble in my cause of tears as (if she/he/it iasn't my exDP/hisexwife/wife etc) they are very angry over something and I'd liek to know why SPECIFFICALLY?

That is a very interesting word isn't it fumble and very interesting concept isn't it?

I'd like to say 'Please go away?' But that's not what this forum is about.Honest opinions given freely to a posters' issue. Freedom of speeech I beleive it to be.

I have been properly humbled by the responses I have received from all the people out there that have seen fit to take valuable time out of their days in order TO SUPPORT ME. Shouting was intentional and not some mad caps lock thingy. I don;t think it possible for me to express the debt of gratitude I feel towards every single poster on thisd thread, yes, even fumble, for if not for her/him/it I would be getting an uneven response to my plight.

AS we all know things work best when they are balanced. I think fumble needs to find some of that themselves. I wish them luck.
x

I am still crying, I can barely type!

Oh fumble, how utterly unconvincing.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 22:24

UnMNly {{{hugs}}} to Grumpy.

caramelwaffle · 03/05/2009 22:24

Get a Kylie/ Charlene curly perm We'll still all support your decision to have kicked out the cocklodger.

And fumble - there are also -wealthy, but tight to the point of refusing to pay £10 emergency electricity with a baby in the house - cocklodgers

PortoPandemico · 03/05/2009 22:25

Agian, fumble - and it now appears you ARE an expert, exactly how has Grumpy been screwing the system? Third time lucky......

fumble · 03/05/2009 22:25

So Grumpy have you got YOUR own brain or these discussion board ? Interesting how you need this to discuss your EX yet cant answer any questions surrounding it therefore giving a very unbalanced view of everything!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 22:26

Fuck off, fumble, there's a dear.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2009 22:29

Grumpy, you didn't need to say it, you put it into action.
