AIBU to want my 2 yo daughter to look pretty?!

My brother is getting married this year and I found the 'perfect' dress for my 2 yo to wear. But now I've been told she is NOT allowed to wear it because it's prettier than the dress they've bought their daughter (who is a bridesmaid). The dress they have bought for her is quite basic so I might as well dress DD in a sack!

AIBU??

i DO understand - just get a different, pink, pretty dress, one with shoulders, or at least a little cardigan and no tacky looking netting that looks a tad uncomfortable. You'll thank us for it in the end - you know it makes sense.

So, your homework for today is to trawl the websites for something pretty - run it past us horrible bitches and we will give our honest (if a little scathing) opinions. Your little girl will look like a princess

YABU

My two cousins turned up to my wedding in floor length satiun dresses in the same colour as my bridesmaids were wearing.

LAst year I bought a lovely pink satiny dress for dd to go to a wedding

cgi.ebay.co.uk/gorgous-pink-party-dress-by-ladybird-age-8-9years_W0QQitemZ23031934 7283QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGirlsClothing?hash=item230319347283&trksid=p3286.c0.m14&trkparms=72%3A130 1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Dd is 7 and fell in love with the dress but because I thought it looked a little bridesmaidy I phoned and checked before I bought it for her. I would totally have understood if I had been told no.
