Strange behaviour from DH

DH has always liked horses. His mother and his aunt had a riding stable. At great expense, he keeps two horses and rides every evening and most weekends. The garage is full of tack and muddy boots. On our honeymoon, four years ago, we went to a dude ranch in Wyoming. We have pictures of horses all over the house.

The trouble is that he now wants to bring a bridle and a riding crop into bed.

AIBU to have had quite enough of horses?

DisasterArea · 20/11/2008 22:36

i'd draw the lign at whinnying for him though

Flynnie · 20/11/2008 22:36

Yes it will make things confusing when he says he wants a ride

VinegarTits · 20/11/2008 22:38

Is he hung like one too?

Anifrangapani · 20/11/2008 22:38

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 22:39

YABU - let him have his interests. As long as he isn't bringing an entire horse to bed with him I think you should just go with flow and relax a bit!

Flynnie · 20/11/2008 22:42

Go and get a horse costume..what the hell be his fantasy!

Anifrangapani · 20/11/2008 22:43

Just start worrying when he gets horses heads in the post

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 22:43

The house smells of horses, DH smells of horses. It's all a bit much.

Horse costume indeed.

I would'nt take him seriously, he is probably just horseing around

Tidgypuds · 20/11/2008 22:45

Get on with it and let him jump you.

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 22:47

Nay - Dh smelling of horses is fine. It's when the horses smell of dh you have to worry.

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 22:49

The thought had crossed my mind, the way he croons over the bay mare.

Desiderata · 20/11/2008 22:51

Flynnie · 20/11/2008 22:51

Anifrangapani · 20/11/2008 22:51

when he sings Campdown Races I would file for divorce

Desiderata · 20/11/2008 22:52

Stop whinnying, you silly old mare.

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 22:53

Welcome back Desi, even if you are not taking my problem very seriously.

Don't talk to me about hay. There's four bales in the garage

Flynnie · 20/11/2008 22:56

comfy bedding?

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 22:56

So do you think it's time for him to pack his saddlebags then?

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 22:57

Do you want to hoof him out?

Anifrangapani · 20/11/2008 22:57

So what are his views on schooling?

VinegarTits · 20/11/2008 22:57

I would tell him to trot on
