Mumsnet is not a private members club, it's a public forum. I'm sad if people feel they have to go because of stalkers or other personally-directed unpleasantness, because that is unpleasant and not what forums are meant to be about.

But if people want to leave because things are not the same as they used to be when there were only a dozen people, and you could leave your door open all day, and it was all fields round here .... well, off you go then!

you don't have to be a "cod lover" to wonder why people are crowing about a poster, any poster, being forced off a forum because of anti-social behaviour by other posters

Iamnothere- I agree with you, esp your last sentence. I just wish those who are saying how much they miss cod and others would do it silently too!

and i dont think zzzzz meant to appear crowing about why cod left (didnt one of her posts say that what happened to her wasnt on) she is just saying why highlight one poster over another

I think a lot of us like certain posters over others (I love Kerrys posts though they madden me too!!)but i would dream of confessing that

I think flouncing has always been one of those things people post about, like Boden, fruit shoots and whatever else.

I agree that it is a forum, but I have never come across a forum that is anything like it!
