Live opposite a couple with their teenage son. Yesterday as washing up, looked up randomly as you do. Saw the three of them carrying 4 packs of 24 rolls EACH! So 288 loo rolls. So are they going to use 1 and a third rolls each per hour in the 72 hour period? Or around 4.5 sheets per min.

It sounds a lot but perhaps they are keeping two and picked a couple of packs up for relatives. Maybe it was a really good price. Everyone should definitely have more than 3 days worth of loo roll in stock!

You don't know what they're buying them for. Maybe they're making halloween costumes out of them. Maybe they are shopping for relatives as well as for themselves. Maybe they always stock up when there is a special offer. Maybe they have bowel issues. YABU for being so judgemental.
