Have you done a blind taste test? I like salt ‘n’ vinegar Discos for their strong flavour and strong crunch combination. I’m not sure where I can buy them locally though. Think I might need to go for a drive this afternoon….

I have tunnocks teacakes in the freezer already, and DS is bringing me home some Coop S&CV crisps back from work with his 30% colleague discount, which always makes them taste nicer anyway.

Let me put you out of your misery. I put S&V in the freezer earlier along with a pack of cheese and onion as an experiment. As an afterthought I had a pack of barbecue beef hula hoops so chucked them in too. Verdict ? Cheese and onion works for me. Sharpens up the flavour into a little explosion on your tongue !! The S&V were a bit harsh and I felt as though the vinegar was burning my tongue. The hula hoops don’t work - mine were damp and not as crisp. I think they might be too thick.

You know my DH? Although to be fair he got it from his (Indian) former father in law 😆

I was feeling all smug at the start of the thread as I am not that bothered about salt and vinegar crisps. Now I'm pissed off that I have zero packets of crisps, of any flavour, in the house.
