I am sure 99% of people love their children more than life itself.

You might happen to catch them on an off moment, when they are mad or at the end of the tether, etc.,

But, I think most people, really, truly love their kids. Well, I like to think that, anyway.

well im shocked that people are agreeing about send a child to school with the pe note.
how could someone treat their own child like that.

and they way people generally think its ok to shout at kids and some even think its ok to hit them.

some parents constantly shout.

or some people should get a guinepig or something, they want something to love but a child is all consuming and life changing, and some people are not prepared for this.

Actually I was thinking this. Last Friday as I walked home from work, I was walking behind a mum with her three year old (he couldn't have been much older), she was walking at normal pace, and poor baby couldn't keep up with her and kept stumbling. The mum was talking on the phone and everytime her child stumbled she'd scream 'watch where you're effing going you stupid thing...' etc I was practically in tears and had to turn off down another road, poor child was crying pretty hysterically.... She might have been having an off day, but I wanted to scoop the poor mite up in my arms and carry him home with me....
