Was driving and trying not to look then did peek once or twice then panicked!! Fine at the mo though!!

Here in Glasgow, hot but cloudy so couldn’t see it. Went dark and now bright again.

Yep peaked 👀,went very dark in doors,still bright outside,not a patch on the 1999 eclipse,no eeriness at all.

Yup! I thought it wouldn’t count if I stood side-on and quickly looked out of the corner of my eye.

That’s a meteor shower, not solar eclipse! But I guess blindness is the result regardless 😆

No, I was a goody two shoes and looked through my colander, found it all very underwhelming just as I did in ‘99. I’m looking forward to and hoping to see the meteor shower later - now that I can get excited about.

Odd thing is if anyone had posted they'd had several glasses of wine instead of looking directly at the sun they'd be having their arse roasted instead of their retinas.
