Butt on display at lunch in south of France

I am currently having lunch in a beach restaurant and a girl with a lovely toned body is wearing a tiny thong with full ass on display. This seems to be a fashion thing and there are lots of women wearing the same cheese cutter! People are staring and some women are laughing. I find it a horrible trend and I am wondering what others think.

Pretty hard to avoid staring at that sight!

Agree, it's not very hygienic is it? Put shorts and t-shirt/top on to eat!

She’s a young girl who is confident about her body. I’ll absolutely never knock anyone who has body confidence whatever size they are

Its took to my almost mid 40s to feel confident in my own skin and this year yes I’ll be wearing bikinis on holiday. One of them does sit quite high on my bum cheeks and is slightly thong like. I’ll keep an eye out for prudes clutching their pearls!!!

I agree with the PP in that it says way more about the knobs laughing, than the woman who's simply chosen swimwear she likes.

Personally I wouldn't laugh, but I would silently judge, and bemoan the way that women are more and more sexualised and pornified these days.

There’s such a thing as a beach cover-up/sundress/sarong. That’s what you put on at meal times.

There are sarongs and other cover-ups available so that no- one has to sit where the (in eff3ct) bare backside of another person has been.

I would find it off-putting- especially at a restaurant.

There needs to be a line drawn somewhere because otherwise we get those fetishists thinking it's ok to be out and about too. Seeing anyone's bare butts or tops when I'm eating would put me off lunch.

It's tacky but people are entitled to look tacky if they want to.
