To find this a really snobby comment from neighbour?

We moved our motor home out into the street earlier so we (DH, DD and I) could clean it.

A woman walked past with a child who made a comment, something innocuous about it being quite big.

The woman said ‘your lucky you never have to go in one of them and we can go abroad’.

I thought - you cheeky cow. We have had some great trips away over the years, and go abroad at times too. I wish I said something to her now!

Ew, totally snobby! Motor homes are cool and it’s all about the time and memories not the type of holiday ❤️

They are VERY uncool in Scottish Highlands, where quite a few of them they get in the way of other road users, park up wherever they like, empty their toilets in ditches, shout abuse at locals who challenge their entitled behaviour. I am sure OP doesn't do any of those things and the neighbour can 'Awa an' boil her heed' as we say up here!

God, I wish I said something now. DH suggested ‘you could do with a walking holiday in the English countryside rather than gobbling a TUI all inclusive buffet!’ - she is slightly robust in size.

I think you may have lost the crowd there.

I'd be really pissed off if someone parked one near my house
