Transgender niece

My niece lives in another country and I’ve just heard that she is becoming a he. She has changed her name, is taking hormone medication and now has facial hair. She is a transgender boy. However she sees herself as a boy. AIBU to think she will never be a biological boy and to refer to her as a transgender boy? I realise this could be an emotive topic.

The TRAs are always so quick to accuse others of not listening to trans people.

But when it comes to detransitioners, they just want to ignore/block these stories.

Go figure.

What do you think is 'hateful' about saying humans can't change sex?

Well, I want to believe that they are 15yo 25yo at most, so I'm old enough to be their mother, which makes me old in their eyes, I suppose :P

I'm with you on the self ID as young. I'm not old and I'm not and never have been a lady. I'm much too uncouth to ever be called a lady!
