What's hated on MN, but insanely popular in real life?

Disney World
Starbucks, Costa, Nero etc
Center Parcs
A sensible political stance
McDonald's

What else?

Buying clothes high street brands like Newlook or Primark or dare I say it Shein. It always cracks me up on here that whenever someone asks for a suggestion for say a bikini the replies are always links to items that are £150 plus.. Never, I got a nice one in Primark for a tenner.

Age gap relationships. Everyone thinks you must marry or have relationships with someone the same age and then every same age relationship works out forever. No divorce/no splitting up.😃

You haven't noticed MN is absurdly liberal, if you haven't I suspect you are probably one of them!

As someone that is absurdly liberal myself I have actually noticed the opposite. There are a lot of very right wing posters and views on here and it’s been getting worse of late.

I think MN used to lean quite liberal but not anymore.

Massively disagree.

Certain posters on here probably 😂

Pulling a sickie.

MN has conniptions about taking time off work for any reason other than your leg has been severed and you're bleeding out, or you have sepsis.

(But also, don't go into work if you have a cold because you might kill someone vulnerable.)

Am I reading a different forum? Everyone loves Disney, McDs and Centre Parcs on here.

Superdry clothes

Maligned on here but I see a lot of people wearing them and not just middle aged men!

ACIGC · Yesterday 10:57

Men, in general.

I was going to say the same 😅

and being happy. MN is so incredibly negative

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · Yesterday 10:58

Getting angry with - and possibly shouting at - your children. I remember a thread on here a few weeks ago with a woman who had shouted at her child and was berating herself with thoughts of how she'd ruined their relationship and let herself down.

EdithStourton · Yesterday 10:59

Cockerpoos - reviled on The Doghouse for all sorts of reasons (some reasonable, some not), but wildly popular, as can be seen in every park in the country.

The feminism board is an absolute shit show.

Boomers
Particularly those boomers who have inherited a nice wad from their deceased parents.
How dare those parents have worked hard and scrimped to buy a house 60 years ago which has increased in value in the ensuing years
