First I ever heard of it was yesterday.

People act like it’s only non white people that do this.

A police mugshot of Alina Burns, wearing a black hooded jacket and a grey T-shirt. She has blue eyes and her blonde hair is closely shaven. She is standing against a light grey background, looking ahead with a blank expression.

Father of jailed neo-Nazi teenager says 'everyone failed her'

Alina Burns, 19, was jailed in May for attempting to behead a barber.

It's interesting that her father had tried to seek help as a result of her medical diagnosis but didn't think it concerning when she started spouting Reform-type views.

Reform's calls to cold white rage are directly responsible for this. Farage foments violence.

Yet we are not allowed to declare that Islam has caused any of the multiple attacks. There's hundreds stopped, one fairly recent, by a Father coming out from visiting his Wife and Newborn seeing a man suspiciously hanging around the maternity wing. We aren't allowed to say that a common theme is women and children being targeted. Part of the issue is the blame always follows one path, but apparently there's lots of factors at play, when it's from a man from certain communities.

Autism is not a MH condition

Anorexia is not a psychosis so wouldnt really classify as an illness that she would need detainment for unless she is not eating at all and then she might be hospitalised.

But anorexia would not be a reason for trying to kill someone, her MH is irrelevant in terms of her crime.

Prison is the right place for her unless she becomes unwell in which case she might need a short general hospital stay unless she becomes psychiatrically unwell to the degree of needing detainment under the MHA

Autism is not a MH on its own, but around a third of those who have it also have learning disabilities. Those who have Autism are also much more likely to have severe associated mental health conditions.

A proportion of my caseload as a disability outreach worker was supporting families who were dealing with autistic adult children, many of whom were violent as a result of these conditions. Help for these families is patchy and in some areas non-existent so, as seems to have been the case with this girls’ father, they are left to struggle. So you can’t really state that prison is the right place for offenders who have these conditions without examining all the factors.

The state of MH services in the UK means that too often those with MH conditions don’t get appropriate intervention before they offend and they end up in prison instead of appropriately hospitalised.

A last count over 1.5m immigrants on benefits eight years after entering the country. I live in an area of high immigration, l see every day how many don’t share our values, or respect for life. Calls for Sharia law, streets where white people are afraid to walk, no go areas for the police. My daughter has been assaulted while walking past the migrant housing centre. She’s had them follow her home shouting vile sexual comments at her and has been told she’s a slut for not covering up her body in public. She’s 14. There have been attempts to kill/harm my dog and the pets of other residents here. The crime rates here have soared and sexual assault is common. This is my lived experience, but according to people like you we should just put up and shut up.

As for the rioters, clearly there is an element that will use incidents like this to agitate and incite violence. But there are those who are sick and tired of having their concerns minimised and dismissed by government, and who, frighteningly, will turn to this kind of violence more and more because it’s easier to brand them far right thugs than actually listen and address their concerns.

They are thugs and many of them are far right as we have seen.

There are concerns, ofcourse there are but these riots are not that.

Hmm, patterns of savagery. Maybe we should be looking at teenage girls?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gydjpdwy2o

Teenage girls really won’t be high up on crime stats.

LuckyHazelFox · Today 18:02

Going looking for random knife crimes is bizarre but then so is this whole OP.

And so it continues. So given that the unrest was sparked by a vicious attack on an innocent person by a failed asylum seeker and is by no means the first of it’s kind, what do you think was behind it ?

It wasn’t a knife. It was an axe. But, yes, white teenage girl - nothing to see here.

True. A horrific crime occurs so a young, slight teenage girl with MH issues must be found.

Megifer · Today 18:05

I saw this and was shocked when I heard it was a white person.

When I heard about the Belfast attempted beheading I was not remotely shocked to hear it was not a white person.

I didn't go looking! I already knew about these two incidents (among others) because I don't limit my attention to stories implicating brown-skinned immigrants.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such naked, self confessed prejudice.

Come on, I was trying to highlight the bias in extracting a 'pattern' from selected news stories.

Then there was no need for the question how he got here.

No need for the question from whose perspective? Yours?

Im quite interested to know. I work with asylum seekers and obviously we see a lot of different types of entry.

White people are not generally known for attempting to behead people in public ?

I have no idea what was behind it and I won't speculate.

The victims family were very graceful in their statement, they seem deeply principled and decent people

The rioters, egged on by YSL in Russia and Musk, are anything but.

I'm talking about the Manchester school stabbings by a 14 year old girl. However, looking for cases to say oh look its not just asylum seekers who stab people is really strange. It was one white girl with an axe. Is there a pattern of white girls using sharp objects, such as screwdrivers on innocent people?

TequillaSunset · Today 18:08

LuckyHazelFox · Today 16:02

The more citizens are called far right racists the more they will double down. Maybe the rioters aren't the only ones who should be looking at their own behaviour.

Why do you infantilize these people?

Anyone who chooses to riot, chooses this course of action.

A huge number of my service users are also ND. She does have an associated MH condition, the anorexia, this is highly common for people with ASD

My point is that Autism is not a MH condition, I replied to a poster who said it was

They were also implying that she should be in hospital rather than prison. People are not hospitals for ASD, nor even anorexia unless their anorexia is currently and acutely posing a risk to life.

BIossomtoes · Today 18:10

How many do you need before you’ll admit your double standards and condemn all violence?

I fucking hate the autism excuse, in all honesty.

My son is autistic and has yet to try and behead anyone, and if he ever does, his accountability for that action does not change.

Why not ? You said in your last post There are concerns, ofcourse there are but these riots are not that.. So you seemed certain in your last post that the unrest w as caused by right wing thugs and nothing more.
