To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

I don't remember so much rage over the death of Sarah Everard..

Farage said we must not let the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men or attacks on the police.

Then the police attacked more women attending a vigil for the murdered young woman.

It is awful how Henry Novak's family are having to be put through so much more.
They've been through more than enough.

I feel terrible for Henry Nowak's family but this is very much a political matter and I cannot help but think anybody who brings up how his family feel about this is using emotional blackmail to shut down debate.

Farage is right. Absolutely right.

There is two-tier policing in this country.

I don’t think anyone started a BLM riot because Kier Starmer told them to, or because he took the knee. Lots of people were taking the knee. The England football team used to do it before matches (still might for all I know, I don’t watch it much). Is it their fault?

Farage said he wanted people to feel “white cold rage”. Henry Nowak’s father said he didn’t want his death to be the cause of hatred and division.

He didn't say 'white cold rage', that is what the BBC said he said and he has his lawyers onto them. BBC have apologised and it's on their website so I wouldn't repeat stuff that isn't correct on here.

Ablondiebutagoody · 04/06/2026 07:15

Get a grip. Farage is right on this one. 2 tier policing based on race is undeniable. Its there in the polices own documentation and training material. Hence Labour trying to make this about Farage.

If the wording in the policies directed the police to act in this manner on each occasion, why have we not seen more occurrences of white discrimination?

Can someone be repatriated to Essex then?

Don’t be ridiculous…his parents were migrants. There were a lot of Polish migrants coming over at the time. People were up in arms about it at the time. I’m 60, I’ve seen it over decades and the spread and reach of odious Farage is sickening.

However you could try repatriation of Farage to Essex, I believe the people of Clacton would be pleased to see him doing the job they elected him for rather than fucking off to the US to blow smoke up Trump’s arse.

He actually said pure cold rage, it was a misquote but not a million miles away.

OneTealShaker · 04/06/2026 07:53

BBC at it again. Blatant lying and false reporting. The far left propaganda never stops.

The family’s wishes should be front and centre. The leaders of every political party except Farage are respecting them. Farage is a disrupter, if he have a shit about Henry Nowak and his family he’d pipe down.

JuliaBraverman · 04/06/2026 07:54

If locking up Nigel Farage is the answer to the death of Henry I despair I really do

It's more than a million miles away. It's probably about as significantly wrong as it could be in the context and situation.

Can you provide the actual documents and proof, rather than saying “it’s undeniable” with no proof?

Question to you Op.
Digwa could have done many things after stabbing this young man. He could just run away, he could have pretended he found the body. Plus much more. BUT he didn't, he got his brother to call the police and HE accused Mr Nowak of a racist assault. Why?,
Simple question, why did he accuse him of racism?

QuintadosMalvados · 04/06/2026 07:54

thepariscrimefiles · 04/06/2026 07:50

So Farage ignoring the direct plea from Henry Nowak's father not to use his son's death to stir up hatred is OK with you?

Tommy Robinson and his fascist thugs, some of whom were doing Nazi salutes, have terrorised the Southampton neighbourhood where their riot took place and damaged property and injured police officers and a police dog.

Farage is just a right-wing grifter. He doesn't attend Parliament and just uses his elected position as a money-making opportunity.

Yes it is OK with me that Farage has ignored the Nowak family on this matter.
Absolutely OK with me.
It is OK because other people hand-wringing does no good.
Action needs to be taken to stop it happening again.

It is in my opinion moronic to suggest that this is not a political matter.

It’s not possible for police to ensure equality of outcome in society. It shouldn’t be their remit.

How can it be objectively measured at a scene of a crime?

Their aim is to ensure equality of policing outcomes. Do you think that should be outside their remit too?

Politicians talked of anger and fury after George Floyd and that is was understandable, they stood with them etc.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 04/06/2026 07:54

It’s not possible to police in that way. A crime scene is active and chaotic enough without layering I must ensure this person gets a different treatment for some outcome I can’t assess over time.

Listen to police on this, it’s not doable, it leads to awful outcomes as it did for Henry. Jack Straw also covers the problem well.

QuintadosMalvados · 04/06/2026 07:58

BIossomtoes · 04/06/2026 07:54

No.
They should not be front and centre. Sorry.
Action should be taken to prevent what happened to poor Henry happening again.

This requires debate.

It is in my opinion idiotic to suggest this should be swept under the carpet because of what his family say.

As terrible as I feel for them, and I'm trying to say this in as kind a way as possible, genuinely I am, their opinion on what politicians do next is not relevant.

JacketPotatoFoodOfTheGods · 04/06/2026 07:58

Agreed!

hairbearbunches · 04/06/2026 07:59

@MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack That's what equality of outcome means. I'm absolutely astonished that people are apparently willing to sacrifice that kind of equal justice simply because they don't like the idea that police might need to adopt slightly different approaches with different communities in other to get to those equal outcomes.

The trouble with this is that over decades we've set up the situation to be as it is because we've pandered to different communities to such an extent that we now need to police them differently. And underpinning it all is religious and cultural sensitivities in a country where they mean nothing to the majority. Those of us without faith are looking on at where we've got to and absolutely despairing. Equality of outcome because one sky fairy trumps another, ffs.

Someone is a bit salty that Farage is right. And you can no longer deny it. The proof is undeniable.

And unless your called out Starmer for stoking racial violence after St. Floyd, you have no moral authority to lecture anyone about Farage encouraging "rage." Perhaps rage from the working class majority is exactly what is needed.

Working class? I'm WC and have no intention of being enraged at the behest of a nasty little man such as Nigel Farage.

What good will it achieve, it's a waste of energy. The IPCO are investigating, one of the officers has resigned, and the police force are looking at their training so it's not like nothing is happening.

What exactly do you want, more bigotry, violence and vandalism because that what it sounds like.

BackToLurk · 04/06/2026 07:59

Whatisthisdamnednonsense · 04/06/2026 07:14

I am hoping he loses some support amongst his followers following his “pure rage” comments which are clearly an invitation to violent protest. Very happy to see him loudly heckled in the HoC yesterday.

I suspect he’s desperately trying to attract some of the support he’s lost to Restore for not being a big enough arsehole.

I agree.
Whilst I have absolute respect for the family wishes in relation to their son. The policing of this crime and its social ramifications are an issue for all of our society.

LoisGriffinskitchen · 04/06/2026 08:00

If politicians do get involved it needs to be left to grown ups and not the playground bullies shouting the loudest. they won’t achieve anything more than more division and hatred.

Im not being ridiculous. I asked if someone could be repatriated to Essex, which is where he was originally from (thats what repatriation means)

I cant find anything confirming his parents were polish migrants.
