To think Nigel Farage should be locked up?

He was inciting violence with his “address to the nation” speech, calling for rage.

Meanwhile, he doesn’t care when women are actually murdered by the police

Surely enough is enough and they need to take action?

Nigel Farage MP (@Nigel_Farage) on X

We must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police.

There is a police officer sat in jail following a trial for murder. He was convicted of murder. The autopsy report clearly doesn’t show what you think it does, or Chauvin would’ve appealed by now and won, no?

Sorry op but two tier policing is absolutely a thing. Here in Birmingham especially the police go and speak to the leaders of the Muslim community when some of the younger generation are acting less than desirable, if that was anyone else not Muslim they would be arrested. The police are absolutely afraid of being called racist and so is Starmer. Open your eyes !

I'd advise you to do some research but you clearly don't care about facts.

You have proof I assume? Actual evidence, not whatever reform have told you on social media

Or because the justice system is stacked against women, if it was actually two tier they’d have been found not guilty, not having their sentences reviewed? The judge in that case made it clear he was making that decision on the basis of “boys being boys” and them deserving a second chance because of their age, nothing to do with their race.

He also referenced their lack of education which was directly related to them being travellers.

nobodyssons · 04/06/2026 07:28

No, it’s not.

The guidance calls for an equality of outcomes. I.e., if you have two people in front of you with the same facts (same suspected offences, same level of evidence), making sure they get the same treatment.

Isn’t that what we want in our justice system?

That's your take on it. Where is the evidence that is what is meant by the statement? Please provide some documentation.

worriedmumofgirls · 04/06/2026 07:32

I don’t know? I have seen what Henry’s sister has been posting on social media.

Sskka · 04/06/2026 07:32

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 04/06/2026 07:25

What is two-tier exactly about "equality of policing outcomes for people of different ethnic groups"?

Because it literally means treating people differently in order to try to bring about those outcomes. By definition that’s two-tier treatment.

You are having trouble seeing this because you like the policy idea of trying to achieve ‘equality of outcome’, and you don’t want to to contemplate that the disaster of this case might be the result of that policy.

ThejoyofNC · 04/06/2026 07:33

Since you love evidence so much, where's your evidence of him "inciting violence"? That means telling people to commit violent acts.

LoisGriffinskitchen · 04/06/2026 07:35

Some time ago a black schoolboy was murdered by a sword wielding white bloke. No riots then, no sign of Farage or Tommy Ten Names. Tells me all I need to know about Reform and their “thick as mince” voters and supporters.
Henry was Polish. Ten years ago they’d have been demanding his repatriation. But now because he’s dead and hes white he’s a useful vehicle for their hatred and divisive politics.

StandFirm · 04/06/2026 07:35

nobodyssons · 04/06/2026 07:09

It’s scary. They just don’t seem able to see what he’s doing.

Yes, because the whole fascist right movement (I refuse to call it conservative because I have known decent conservatives here and in the US and they're not the same) is built on a cult leader principle.

GeneralPeter · 04/06/2026 07:36

nobodyssons · 04/06/2026 07:28

What’s political about calling for a response of “pure cold rage”?

You can’t be serious. You think Farage isn’t doing politics here?

What you mean I think is that politics shouldn’t be done on certain topics (on pain of jail), which is utterly illiberal and dangerous.

Or you think that politics mustn’t channel or encourage anger (on pain of jail), which is illiberal and unworkable. Many leaders would be jailed for normal political rhetoric. Anyone who said anger was the right response to George Floyd, for example (Starmer), or to capitalism (Corbyn), or many other things from all sides.

YourGoldSquid · 04/06/2026 07:09

Someone is a bit salty that Farage is right. And you can no longer deny it. The proof is undeniable.

And unless your called out Starmer for stoking racial violence after St. Floyd, you have no moral authority to lecture anyone about Farage encouraging "rage." Perhaps rage from the working class majority is exactly what is needed.

What do you mean “he’s right and you can no longer deny it”

this is your opinion presented as fact, indeed in a challenging way. It makes no sense.

ps I can’t recall KS doing anything during George Floyd

You obviously don't know what the riots are about.

Don't be stupid. You have no evidence whatsoever for your claim that 'the working class majority' supported the riots. Nor even that they support Farage. The election results show that the majority of the electorate do not support him.
If you want to defend the irresponsible acts of this dangerous rabble rouser, than at least have the courage to own it as your own thirst for violence rather than hiding behind 'the working classes'.

SapphOhNo · 04/06/2026 07:37

Farage will get as close as he can to inciting violence without crossing that line but you definitely get what the subtext of what he's saying and wants

I loathe the man. I think he's a hate-spinning, lying charlatan who loves the title of being an MP but not the work... loves a grievance but offers no credible solutions.

One case is proof is it? I raise you Damilola Taylor, Stephen Lawrence, Jean Charles de Menezes...

Floyd was actually murdered by police. Nowak was a tragic result of the police getting it wrong, but it was not the police who stabbed him.

Farage is a despicable opportunist and white supremacist who will use anything to divide and conquer.

Sorry but you simply don’t understand what you’re talking about.

‘Equality of outcomes’ does not mean ‘making sure they get the same treatment’. It means the opposite. It means giving people different treatment to try to achieve ‘equality of outcomes’.

That is what people hate. They do not believe that you will achieve equality of outcomes. They believe it produces favourable treatment for certain groups. They would prefer that everyone got the same treatment.

AlternativeView · 04/06/2026 07:40

What they’re saying is making sure white people don’t get treated better because of inherent unconscious biases. Please tell me why you think that’s wrong.

Odfod

hes correct

if anyone needs locking up it’s Starmer and his traitorous Twotier corrupt cronies

and the prap and dei is not as you state - it is designed to positively discriminate against whites . And that is embedded in all institutions .

It’s absolutely vile. Of course all his supporters are on social media saying “pure cold rage is actually calculated and calm”, meanwhile Stephen Yaxley Lennon is in the streets shouting about Muslims. Despite the perpetrator not being a Muslim!
