Southampton protest against police, huge crowd, Tommy Robinson whipping everyone into a frenzy and saying "this IS about race"

Other speakers declaring that England is a Christian country. The Lords Prayer chanted by every speaker. The leader of UKIP saying he will deport all migrants and make government Christian. The leaders of the protest saying they are being pushed by the police cordon, while the camera angle shows the police haven't moved. The leaders of the protest mocking the female police officer who are taking over a shift from another police officer in the cordon "They're replacing all the men with women!"

This is awful. It feels like the start of civil war. Maybe human beings just aren't supposed to go decades without a fight.

People who live in deprived and built up areas are getting fed up. The people who run the country live in quaint little villages and do not see any problem because it is not happening on their doorstep.

They certainly were expected to comply. If they didn't agree with the riots they were called racists. If they said politics had no place in football they were called racist. If they said all lives matter, you've guessed it.

Can you think of any reason for this kind of protest that you would actually support? Clearly it's not the murder of an innocent man left to bleed to death because he cried the 'R' word. I think we should be all scared for our young sons with the way the world is going, no matter what colour they are.

I am scared for my half Turkish teenage son, he looks very very foreign, I’m scared he’ll be walking down the street and someone will think he is a “boat person” and attack him.

well I feel deeply unsettled and worries that a young man is seen saying to police officers I can’t breathe and I’ve been stabbed and they didn’t believe him, yet they believe the guy who is lying. The mother needs to be deported as well.

Why would they when it’s one case, not a trend and when in the one case the perpetrator was swiftly dealt with.
