Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

They do, but I’m grouping them together for simplicity of explaining the point. Both groups are still victims of racism on a far greater scale than White people.

Nobody ever, ever says it’s only white men who commit SA or Violence, ever. The only reason they mention about white men is to counter rabid racists arguments. It is not about race. It is about gender. Men.

I think they mean “profiling” and also include “profiling” Reform voters.

Now some profiling is inevitable, but it cannot be biased (prejudice based on race, sex, religion, sexuality, age etc)?

The thing is “class” is not a protected characteristic under the Equality Act, so could it be that given Britain is quite classist. I think people do experience class prejudice frequently.

We can think of a theoretical situation when a police officer attends a domestic violence incident and only attends to a woman at the door with blood all over. To only discover later that there is a murdered man upstairs who may have been saved if discovered earlier. These things do also happen. So the police will always have to look out for those most injured first and not go in with any bias.
Now if the female acted in self defence and as a result of years of abuse, then the judiciary does have precedents for that too (in sentencing as well).

White people abuse and dehumanise others for years but the minute the tables are turned it’s ‘arrrrrrghhhhhh, it’s not fair’ and weaponising it. If what you’re saying is correct, and white people are experiencing racism then, as a white person, we collectively fucking well deserve it. Perhaps then we will know how it feels.

The amount of shit that happens to minorities that is suddenly not okay if it happens to someone with white skin is disgusting. Brown people have fought for years to be seen as human beings, and suddenly the likes of Reform come along and starts undoing all that, normalising cruelty and dehumanisation. So yes, society is going backwards, but not for the reason you state.

Yes, the Henry Novak case is tragic but the police are not perfect. Black people get arrested and abused by the police because of race bias all the time. No one says a thing.

White working class people (with eg tattoos) who present as loutish and in groups, do experience profiling and prejudice.
The term is not “racism”.
I think as a group some of them have convinced themselves they need some protection from prejudice. If you look at the educational and poverty statistics, there is prejudice.

I think we've reached a point where we can state that the claim that white people are bad or abusers at this current point in time, is racist nonsense.
