2 Tier Britain and Policing - Digwa

Wellwhatnowbellaboo · 02/06/2026 09:12

Just heard Nigel talk about this on LBC following Digwa sentencing. Also saw the video... I'm shocked and so saddened. Not sure what my aibu is but I think we need to ban all religious weapons for a start . What do u think ? Are you in police ? Are you treating people differently?

Exactly.

A man killed in the US we have politicians 'taking the knee' <not 'politicising' it oh nooo of course not > with widespread violent riots and looting in the US with violent 'protests' here. All good, free speech and all that.

A young white man died in horrific circumstances in this country, people are outraged at the useless, negligent police and protest yet them makes them all far right Tommy Robinson supporters.

If Henry Nowak had been black there would be far worse than a few wheelie bins being chucked at police. Far worse.

Totally agree and couldn’t put it better myself.

Yet I ask them a simple question “Why is it ok for Palestine marches to go ahead but not ones on the right?” (And BLM protests for that matter) and the only answer they can come up with is to answer my question with another question by flipping the question I asked around. So they answer my question with a flipped around version of it, whilst having the audacity to say I haven’t answered ‘their’ question! Making their own answers up to their own version of that question by claiming I said I am ok with 2 tier policing on one side and not another (which I didn’t), claiming I object to Palestine marches then saying “so you don’t object to them then?” and trying to make it look as if I said all that shit myself!
When I have very clearly stated upthread somewhere pages ago that I object to all violent protests, but they chose to ignore/ miss/ turn a blind eye to that post and would rather engage in a merry go round of made up bullshit and reverse questions.
You just can’t argue with stupid!

Okay, so that means you disagree with the Southport riots in 2024, and the Southampton riots this week - because they both became violent.

Great, glad we agree.

Poor misunderstood Farage calling for pure cold rage and repeating far-right white supremacist conspiracy theories.

Don't be nasty to him or his supporters.

No sympathy for white people, they deserve it because, you know, colonialism and all that. 🙄

JuliaBraverman · 04/06/2026 08:55

It’s an easy way to win an argument by dropping the Tommy Robinson or the Nigel Farage name though, isn’t it?

I would much prefer if you didn’t call me an idiot, thanks.

Most of us refer to people as far right racists/thugs for engaging in unpeaceful protests, and “drag” TR and NF into it bedause they were involved.

This week for example, Farage encouraged it and Robinson was there. Nobody’s dragging them into it, they are “in it.”

If you’re talking about peaceful protests that don’t involve either of them, you’re clearly talking about something entirely different, because Southampton wasn’t peaceful and they were involved.

Maybe stay on topic?

It’s particularly easy to do when they’re directly involved.

As a long-term critic and actual hater of Margaret Thatcher, I keep thinking what would she do?

This talk about Farage causing hate and division reminds me of the treatment of MPs such as Suella and Kemi. Both articulate smart BAME women. So why are they referred to as coconuts by the very people who complain about hate and division? Surely those critics - or bigots - are keeping that division going by treating these two women differently. This is only one of the reasons why I know it's the left who have to have that divide. They have to have a crusade, same with Palestine. They treat BAME in a condescending way to pander to their own egos.

Awww are you keeping tabs on me???

Well then you will have noticed that I disappeared around 10am and woke up at 4am ish!

I am now working on my own online business whilst replying to this thread in between.

And I do not need to justify myself to you!

Can’t be sure, but I’m fairly sure name calling is in breach of MN terms..

Nigel Farage encouraged the Southampton riot. Tommy Robinson was there. Nobody is being dragged into anything, they’re already there.

The “protest” wasn’t peaceful, because there are Southampton residents with smashed car windows who had absolutely nothing to do with either the police or Henry Nowak’s death. That’s not peaceful protest.

I hope this helps. But at this point, I’m doubtful anything will.

One woman called Braverman and Sunak that and was prosecuted. You can't extrapolate that to the rest of the left and certainly not to anyone on this thread as no-one has used it. I think it's a disgusting thing to call someone and I am a real ol' lefty.

Oh so you will realise that calling people a racist is also calling people names then

So you conclude cold rage as an incitement to hatred. I take it you felt the same about the Black panthers dressing up in combat gear shouting defund the police while London was burning. Just to repeat my earlier post on this.

Why because she has fought through the pile on she's had for standing by her stance.

I don’t believe I have called you a racist?

I’m sure you’re just an average worried citizen, with, what’s the phrase… “legitimate concerns.”

That’s not being a racist, is it?

Yep. Not quite the “gotcha” you’d like, I’m sure..

I don’t believe London should have been “burning” and I don’t believe anyone should be encouraging people to be violent or destructive for any reason, because it solves nothing.

Did I say you have used it? You get heated up about selective things like any lefty though. It's a vile racist term used by racists, the same as gammon. The reason they are used is because these MPs address the problem of two tier policing rather than wanting to bury it. Nothing but nothing they say is divisive or racist. This is why its relevant to Farage because its the exact same with him. They are beating Labour at the polls because they are pragmatic. I only wish Kemi would defect to Reform but a Con Reform government will do.

Araminta1003 · 04/06/2026 09:19

That Guardian article is scary. How can they mobilise so quickly and get there in an instant? Yet none of our Government to be seen in the locality of where the tragedy happened?
