I thought that. Then I got one.
And, it's OK, it has its uses. I don't cook pizza, or chips. But it is good for a single chicken breast, salmon piece. Roasted veg. An extra side dish if cooking for a lot of people.
The fact it doesn't need to preheat is good - I can just think about what I want for lunch, and cook it, and eat it. It cooks quicker. The thing with pre heating the oven, is that you don't put the food in until it's heated, which can take fifteen minutes. Which is fifteen minutes of electricity. And fifteen minutes your food isn't being cooked. If I want chicken and salad, I can do the chicken the air fryer in fifteen minutes all in, not fifteen minutes preheat then half an hour to cook.
It was £80, it's not very big. I've worked out that using it twice a week, it will repay me in under a year, and then I'll be better off.
But I don't rave about it like some people. But that's probably because I don't eat chicken nuggets and chips!
