AIBU we don’t want to see your bra

Just seen a woman wearing a red boob tube with a grubby white strapped bra. If she can’t find a strapless bra that fits, why buy and wear boop tubes or any other clothing that shows off bra straps. Not a good look.

Why do women think it’s ok to wear clothes like this

I don't like it when people walk around as if they are on the beach when they are not. A bit of sun and some people go over the top in my opinion

I’d never seen it at our posher school but then we moved house and well this one takes all sorts.

Good learning outcome but it’s definitely a big mix between wealth and just in general.

Actually see more dads on the school run at this one as well normally in work gear rushing off.

Bit of bra sticking out the side of a vest top? No problem, although I’d make sure my bra was sparkling white or a distinct colour.

Bra sticking out the side of a halter neck or boob tube? Looks bloody awful imo as the top is designed to be the support. Can’t wear it without a bra or strapless? Wouldn’t wear as I think it looks awful, even more so if greying.

It gives me endless amusement to see how badly people dress round here. If they want to go out looking hideous that's up to them. I don't dress well either! However, people who go to the shop in pyjamas have got to realise that if they haven't bothered to have a shower yet, they're going to stink.

Of course it’s Holy Writ on MN, that whatever women ever choose to wear, half their arse or 7/8 of their boobs hanging out, pyjamas to the supermarket, a big fat belly with a crop top and low slung jeans, grubby bra straps showing - hey, it’s all perfectly fine!

YABU although I can't decide whether you are bothered more by the visible bra or the fact it was grubby. We aren't on a fashion parade as my dad used to say, let people dress how they want !

Does anyone remember the clear bra straps that were meant to be invisible but made you look like you had selltape over your shoulders? I never wore them because they irritated my skin but they were everywhere.

These days if sonething requires special underwear, it stays in the shop! 🤣

If it was a manky old bra that detracted from an otherwise nice top, yeah i have to admit i find it puzzling. But it's not a crime and it woudn't make me think of her badly, obviously.

I actually show my bra straps all the time, but i love funky coloured bras and wear the racer back type with lace that's meant to be shown. Now, i realise that some of the judgy-pants on here would probably disapprove, but it's absolutely fine to judge my taste.
