Husband has stormed out because I found messages on his phone

Hi everyone, I had so many supportive messages on my previous post which has now closed. I have started to implement some of the advice around finances etc. I’ve also filled this weekend with plans not involving my Husband. I said last night he was going at 100mph, and he is similar today. He has text me to say the delivery is arriving tomorrow morning and he can see if his parents can have DS so we can have some us time. I’ve told him I’m going to be out and he has just blanked me.

So thank you to everyone who is helping me navigate this. He is making it seem like everything is business as usual and that I am silly to be dragging it out in his words.

Man has affair, man gaslights woman, woman falls apart and thinks she is losing her mind, man leaves, woman has to pick up the pieces for the broken lives of her and her kids.

Every SINGLE tale is the same, its not uncanny at all. Its just that the world is filled with selfish sexually incontinent emotionally immature men.

Methinks he doth protest too much comes to mind.

Who the hell gets suspended for sexual misconduct at work and is cheerful about it if they are innocent.

You'd be mortified, scared and worried about losing your livelihood, not planning a bbq and enjoying the break.

It's such a giveaway.

I agree with the sentiment but this is exactly what happened to me and I am a man. So I guess the story is the same but not necessarily the gender. Still shit whichever way you look at it.
