To start to think reform will be voted in next time, and they will be running the country

I’ve been a life long labour voter, but I’m starting to think reform will be elected next time
mainly just due to so many criminals that want to harm us being allowed in and allowed to stay
and uncontrolled immigration

I think they are going to win it on this reason alone
every single day there’s a news story usually more than one someone’s been raped by one of these criminals one the other day even said he didn’t understand what rape is and he thought rape was just sex

what do you all think ?
Will reform be running the country soon ?
if they are are the capable of running things in other areas ?
if they take over how do you see that actually panning out ?

People will vote them in to stop the “ boat people” without realising their other policies and what shite they will bring, just like Brexit.

Saying that when has Nige the knob ever come through on a promise. Has he done any surgeries in Clacton yet? All that creature cares about is making him and his friends richer.

Do you have any evidence of that? Source?

Why do people ask this of someone who has obviously stated their opinion?

”I think that England will win the World Cup.”

”Do you have any evidence? What’s your source?”

Jeez…

If they do get voted in it will be proof that this country is full of cockwombles and time to leave. Those of us with nouce will take our business elsewhere.

How is everyone who doesn't want Reform in going to just leave the country?

And go where?

With what money?

Where is everyone going to work?

Which country(s?)

How do you know exactly where to buy and what to buy in said 'other country?'

Will you rent? Will you buy?

What if no-one wants us?

People always say this, ('IF REORM GET IN, I WILL LEAVE THE UK - and so will anyone who has any sense!') and it really is very silly to just say 'I'll leave if Reform get in.' The vast majority of people cannot 'just leave' the UK. And most people who say they will leave - won't leave.... A mixture of not being able to, and being too afraid/set in their ways to just upsticks to another country.

Also, there is a very real probablity that it won't be any better in most other countries. Where shall we go? America? Errrrr, NO. (TRUMP!) Canada? THEY won't want us! They are very fussy about who they let in, and so are Australia (and good for them!) Another country in Europe? Speak the language do ya? No. Most people will not And again, people are assuming that these other countries will want them (and they will be able to get a good job just like that!)

So................. Not that simple is it really?! Wink

If Reform do well at the local elections, and what happens with the current councils they are in charge of carries on happening, I dont think they will win a general election. The state of reform run councils is horrific. And why no one picks them up properly on the lies they peddle to get elected astounds me.

We wont raise taxes, we will make the money from cuts to council waste. Realise there are actually no cuts to make and raise council tax by massive amounts.

We will help with safety of local constituents and road repairs. Paints the zig zag lines outside a school to great fanfare locally that closed 10 years ago.

THIS, is not just an opinion.......

We live in a country where our media is only interested in letting us know what crimes immigrants and POC are committing, and casually keeping quiet about the majority of crimes being committed by home grown white folk. And the fools buy into their agenda.

The poster who said it - @CitizenZ - said it as if it was factual. (It's not!)

They may win a general election (altho' I think they won't) but as for "running the country" experience with Reform Councils (looking at you Kent and Worcestershire) shows unequivocally that Reform couldn't run a children's tea party.

i actually think that if they won and Farage and his millionaire mates were in No 10 and had to be accountable for all their declarations they would shit themselves initially and then bankrupt the country attempting to run it

You forgot to mention that the reporting of crime is also affected by the victim’s race and age.

The reason the Greens are doing so well with the younger generations is because of reform. They’re all considering voting green to make sure they don’t get in.
I’ll be voting green for that reason! I don’t agree with all of their policies but I disagree with ALL of reforms.

Curious as to why you disagree with all of the following policies:

1: Stop The Boats
2: Secure and Defend Our Borders
3: Deport Illegal Migrants
4: Scrap ILR
5: Restore Britains Sovereignty
6: Make Law-Abiding Citizens Feel Safe
7: Make Work Pay
8: Scrap Net Zero
9: Support Our Farmers and Rural Economy
10: Revitalise British Manufacturing
11: Make Britain the Best Place to Start and Run a Business
12: Defend and Protect British Culture and Traditions
13: Rebuild Britain's Armed Forces
14: Help British People Have Families
15: Put British Workers First
16: Put British Businesses First
17: Embrace Technologies of the Future
18: Dramatically Cut Foreign Aid
19: Make Our Civil Service Lean and Productive

You really disagree with ALL of these policies?? If so, perhaps living in the UK isn’t for you.

Because CitizenZ didn't say "I think", but posted it as a fact. There's a big difference and that needs to be pointed out

Snorlaxo · 03/05/2026 12:18

I think Reform will win big and that the turkeys think that we will get Trump style action on immigrants. They conveniently overlook Farage’s opinions on things like the NHS (should be privatised and make US insurance companies money) , maternity leave (too generous), benefits (too high) …

I hope that the Greens are kept out of power. I suspect that the extensive media coverage is about splitting the vote of people on the left and encouraging tactical voting that could benefit parties one right.

The prison service released the data and some nationalities are over represented in UK prisons compared to others.

Ladyymuck · 03/05/2026 12:21

I can see it happening too due to current labour and previous conservative governments. Brexit has been a shambles. I was and am still a remainer. I have lost faith in all political parties. It seems voters are so fed up of the 2 main parties they are looking to vote either to the extreme of left or right wing parties. I am a centrist at heart and am struggling to see what party fits this brief. I agree with a lot of what Kemi Badenoch is saying which is a first for me as have never voted Conservative. I feel so disillusioned with politics in the UK.

Plummagic · 03/05/2026 12:22

I sometimes hope they do win just so the idiots draped in flags who voted for them can see what an absolute fuck up they make.

xanthomelana · 03/05/2026 12:25

I think by the time the next general election comes around Restore will have more support. Most people I know who are voting for Reform in the upcoming Welsh elections say they will vote for Restore next time and wish they could this time around.

TopPocketFind · 03/05/2026 12:29

Restore is on the far right of Reform and openly racist.

Well maybe Reform isn’t the worst option if that’s what you believe.

Compared to Restore, no they are not

It's a very low bar though.

Dappy777 · 03/05/2026 12:38

I don’t believe they will. The establishment is basically liberal-left. The left dominate the universities, the arts, the publishing industry, the BBC, etc, and their single goal is to stop Reform. I have a hunch the next government will be a Labour-Green coalition, probably with a very small majority.

If that happens, I will leave the U.K. I no longer feel English or British anyway, so it will be no great sacrifice. Mass immigration has destroyed any sense of belonging or identity. I no longer live in a country with a shared history and shared culture, and a Labour-Green coalition will make it even worse.

Greenwitchart · 03/05/2026 12:39

That’s not entirely true. The media (and the police) also seem to be obsessed with ‘non crime’ events involving hurty feelings, rather than dealing with actual crime. The police also seem to be too scared of Islam to properly tackle antisemitism, meanwhile the Labour party are too captured/scared of the trans activists to apply last year’s supreme court ruling. I think that will also have a big impact on future elections, because a huge number of women are very angry that their rights don’t seem to count for anything. (And if anyone mentions toilets, I will absolutely go spare. The toilets really are the least of it. The problem is women’s refuges, hospitals and prisons, where very vulnerable women should be able to feel safe.)

Yeah but as you wrote we have our own home grown criminals already who were born here regardless of their colour

we really don’t need to import / allow any more in who we don’t actually know who they are , what crimes they may have committed in their own country
and they certainly should be allowed to wander the streets freely until they are processed and have been given asylum

maybe that might make it less attractive to them

dailyconniptions · 03/05/2026 12:47

Let's hope it's Restore Britain instead.

Nothungrycat · 03/05/2026 12:48

The electoral system that we currently have makes it really hard for smaller parties to gain power, so I'm not convinced that even a big local election win for Reform would translate into a general election triumph. I suspect what's going to happen is more polarisation at the local elections - more Reform Councils and more Green Councils. And then the main parties veer either further right or further left to attract those voters at the next general election. Which leaves those of us who sit somewhere in the middle disenfranchised.
