To start to think reform will be voted in next time, and they will be running the country

I’ve been a life long labour voter, but I’m starting to think reform will be elected next time
mainly just due to so many criminals that want to harm us being allowed in and allowed to stay
and uncontrolled immigration

I think they are going to win it on this reason alone
every single day there’s a news story usually more than one someone’s been raped by one of these criminals one the other day even said he didn’t understand what rape is and he thought rape was just sex

what do you all think ?
Will reform be running the country soon ?
if they are are the capable of running things in other areas ?
if they take over how do you see that actually panning out ?

The reason the Greens are doing so well with the younger generations is because of reform. They’re all considering voting green to make sure they don’t get in.
I’ll be voting green for that reason! I don’t agree with all of their policies but I disagree with ALL of reforms.

"Doing so well with the younger generation" !! 😂

My teen son and his mates regards ZP as hilarious. Hypnotism/breasts... !!

They are leaning towards the Lib Dems in desperation of any of the others.

TopPocketFind · 03/05/2026 11:18

We have seen in Epsom what happens when people falsely believe it is foreigners committing crimes

Changingplace · 03/05/2026 11:15

But are they reported as such? The right wing media does love to focus on the crimes of POC over white working class men.

I’m saying don’t look at the media - go direct to the government prison data.

Nesbi · 03/05/2026 11:21

arethereanyleftatall · 03/05/2026 11:13

But that’s just not true is it? You can look up the government crime/prison statistics if you like and you will see that per capita non white men are by far the most likely to commit crime.

The ethnicity of people in prison only tells you about who is most likely to be reported, tried convicted, and given a penal sentence for crime. It does not tell you who is committing most of the crimes - that is an inference you are drawing.

It's quite apparent in the main stream media on a daily basis.

Is it? I'm not sure I agree.

I've seen the media being very precise in reporting the immigration status of criminals after examples where not reporting the truth has led to serious unrest. E.g. Rudakubana

Even the police have learned not to withhold the truth on that one.

Glad you find that so funny. Let’s see what happens in the polls shall we!

Be realistic, who is actually doing this? You’re proving the point entirely that despite this data existing, it’s not widely and regularly reported.

FurryWastebin · 03/05/2026 11:27

Even allowing for the turkeys voting I think there'll be a lot of " hung" councils.

No, I think it's very disproportionate, and as a sidebar, look at how ham-fisted the police approach was to the Epsom fiasco.

It’s the only data we have. The rest is speculation and actually could go either way. We can’t collect data on unreported crimes. We can only go on what we have. And that is that there are more non-whites committed of criminal offences than whites.

TopPocketFind · 03/05/2026 11:31

Both legal immigration and small boat crossings numbers in the UK are down.

Vaxtable · 03/05/2026 11:34

Many people that voted reform for local elections last year now regret it, nothing has changed and in fact it’s worse. They won’t vote a MP in when reform can’t even sort local councils and have not done what they said they would do if voted in

The police investigated a report of a serious crime. They did so thoroughly, over the following week, and then reported to the media that they could find no evidence of a rape having taken place.

Seems to me, they did their job. What else would you expect?

Paganpentacle · 03/05/2026 11:36

cardibach · 03/05/2026 11:17

As do most immigrants, yes, including refugees and asylum seekers. This narrative is so misleading. Nobody is ‘inviting in’ criminals.

And yet.. nobody is throwing them out either... even after commiting sexual offences they are not deported because they claim its against their human rights...

Seaitoverthere · 03/05/2026 11:38

I think if there’s anything the last 10 years have shown us is things can change very quickly in a short space of time and 3 years is way too far off to be able to accurately predict what will happen.

Personally I think Reform have possibly peaked too soon but let’s see.

ShockingBritain · 03/05/2026 11:41

arethereanyleftatall · 03/05/2026 10:48

Well given the left have basically gone completely mad with the greens, anyone on the left now look like loons. So whilst we once had ‘anyone to keep reform out’, I think more people will now be thinking ‘anyone to keep greens out.’

Yes the Greens look completely mad now. I don't support Reform either.

They did nothing to quell the notion that the alleged perpetrators were immigrants and let those awful scenes unfold.

Bunnyofhope · 03/05/2026 11:43

If there was a general election tomorrow they would certainly be voted in.
But as they will be in control of so many local councils after Friday and people will see that nothing really changes maybe they will have gone off the boil by the next GE?

What do you think the police could have done to quell these rumours?

TheFirmForeheadofHarryMcGuire · 03/05/2026 11:48

If they do get voted in it will be proof that this country is full of cockwombles and time to leave. Those of us with nouce will take our business elsewhere.

I really don’t want to derail this thread but there was plenty of indication on social media of what was going to happen and nothing was done to stop it. They also could have given less ambiguous updates.

Nooooooooooooooooo! 😱

Dorisbonson · 03/05/2026 11:54

Reform will be even worse than labour and the tories. Yes immigration, law and order and many other things need sorting out but Reform are clueless

How could the police have stopped SM rumours?

ETA it is not derailing when Reform MP's were actively involved with spreading the rumours

The mob reaction in Epsom paints a dark picture of chaos and populism

The protests and violence that followed an alleged rape that never happened were the result of far-right agitators galvanising fear on our streets
