I have not followed this story but there does seem to be a spate of murders recently committed by mentally ill men and I wonder how they got to such an extreme level and how are our mental health services so broken that they cannot act until after the fact.

Although there is only so much they can do. How do we avoid people reaching that state?

Yes he is mentally ill, thats what is often behind these kinds of things, but he is also a hateful bigot. But nobody in police custody or being arrested needed to be kicked in the head like that, by police. Thats insane and unlawful.

The police officers imo are racist and behaved appallingly. The man is guilty of a hate crime, if not a terror offense and will be sentenced to Life, as he should be.

I mean all of these cases have a back story right, no-one gets up one day and stabs people, it’s a build up. So not a surprise, but nonetheless grim and does point to the total fucking failure of public services - health and criminal justice.
