So bored of it.

This is nearly every mum in my area, pilates & matcha, botox and handyman & cleaner recommendations. No depth, no real worries..basic.

No, that’s not what she said. She said that’s what she wants to meet.

All she said is that they have no depth, and she seems to be assuming anyone who wears leggings, etc has no depth.

Again, this judging of other women you know nothing about because of their appearance really doesn’t make you cool or edgy. Quite the opposite actually.

How else are you supposed to wear socks with leggings? They look weird under the leggings...

I’ll have to be more careful about what socks I choose, I don’t want to wear a pair that says I don’t have an interesting past or conversations lol

Do you not have any other friends op, how about school/uni/work friends if these friends of yours are so basic?

Why are you making the assumption that they’re incapable of interesting pasts and conversations? It’s just fashion. That’s what’s in right now. Look back through photos of your mum and her mates and see how they all wore the same stuff and shared the same interests that were popular at the time.

I really don’t understand this weird obsession on MN with painting all the legging with socks over mums with the same brush. Same as kids in tracksuits sold in bulk in JD sports must be wronguns. Yawn.

I'm down to earth, and I'd say with some depth.. but I love matcha, Pilates and if i could afford it I'd paralyse every face muscle I could... Don't be so judgy.

Agree with you. A lot of younger ladies seem to be carbon copies of each other. Leggings, sports socks, botox and lips, the same dull interests (at least on the surface of it)
