AIBU to think my colleague is lying about having two dogs?

I work with a work colleague on a one to one basis however I think she’s lied to me about having 2 dogs (she does have 1) as well as to various other work colleagues.

The responses from those who saw the amusement in the OP are unfailingly funny, apart from the few posts from people who either took the OP at her word with regard to the number of dogs, or from those who (rather like you) lack the ability to see humour anyway.

OP - she is lying to you. She told me she was going to tell you she had two dogs, but she's only got one. She was laughing when she said it and said you'd believe her.

Why would she lie? I have two but one never comes over on Teams calls, and doesn’t do anything worth mentioning really, unlike the puppy who chewed my laptop charger for example.
