Has anyone ever actually been turned on by a dick pic?

Genuinely curious if this has ever worked outside of very specific, pre-arranged circumstances. Like is there a secret success rate no one talks about, or is this just the digital equivalent of throwing spaghetti at a wall and hoping it flirts back?

I have never found a dick pic arousing, other than one occassion where the person made slightly more effort for the photo than just a POV shot of their nob. Solicited or unsolicited it just feels like im looking at a penis, and so what

It feels like we’re watching the longest-running group project where no one wants to admit it’s failing. I feel like women typically put a bit more effort into nudes??

Have you ever been turned on by a dick pic?

Idc if im being unreasonable dick pics are just not it

I would be far more turned on by a pic of abs, or twinkly eyes, a nice smile than a dick pic. However gorgeous the bloke is and however much you may want to experience his dick, they all look like chicken drumsticks.

Hahaha

Nope! Many years ago, I got a dick pic THROUGH THE POST. It was way before the internet, I happened to work for a high street record shop and one day an A4 letter arrived for me, I opened it to discover a couple of very beautifully lit pictures of some blokes penis. To this day I have no idea who it was, I was only 18 and equally repulsed and horrified

I find this both hilarious and disturbing - I'm sorry you received that at 18, but my god if I received dick pics in the post id call the press

Grim but I have pretended like they do. Because I fawned because I didn't know how to say "no" or "stop"

But now I'm older, stronger and wiser they repulse me and I am happy to say so.

I once responded to a dick pic with "Ok"

In my opinion, there's nothing remotely erotic about a dick in isolation. As part of a nude shot of an attractive man, absolutely, but not alone.

I feel the same about vulvas (I am attracted to both women and men) - no interest in a picture of a vulva on its own.

sophiasnail · 09/04/2026 21:01

As a lesbian, this is very interesting.... I always thought "Ewww... a straight woman must think that looks nice...." turns out most of them are as repulsed as I am!

No, a dick pic just doesn't do it for me. I know what they look like.

Foreplay begins in my imagination, or with words or touch etc but dick pic nope.

A well worded suggestive message is far more effective.

Imho, the men who send dic pics just don't get it. They think that's sufficient effort to get results. Lazy ass effort, more likely to be lazy/selfish in bed.

I can confirm from experience that this is true.

Like, thanks for the dick pic and rubbing my outer labia for 3 minutes, but when are you going to arouse me? Smh

Ha ha that is great

Like talking to your toddler who just drew you some indecipherable picture "Well done, dear! Is it meant to be a cock?"

babyproblems · 09/04/2026 21:02

Had this conversation recently with group of girlfriends. Not one person said they’d find it sexy / attractive 😂😂😂
I thought it was really quite hilarious when you think about it. Men - and not just a few but so so many of them - have been doing this for years. And it’s still not working 😂
it shows such little understanding of women! After all this time. It’s a miracle we are all here alive and able to type tbh given how long men have been so shit at understanding women 🤣

Men know we don’t find it a turn on yet 90% of men I’ve ever spoken to seem to think it’s attractive to send one within the first few days of talking!

Like it literally does nothing for us!

Its a dick, which we can see anytime we want and we get sent them by multiple men.

I had a guy at work trying to get with me for over 2 years.
It was really cute how much effort he put in and was never pushy or anything.
He really, really liked me and seemingly stayed single just to get with me because I am his perfect woman.
I don’t date people I work with but after 2 years of trying I thought I’d give him my number.
He sent me a dick pic on the first day!!

Anyone who sends me a dick pic who I’ve not been intimate with gets immediately blocked.

These are words to live by tbh. If I haven't been intimate with you, why do you think i want to see a close up of your naked mole rat nob? Get a hobby

To me it’s no different to get a pic of a random kneecap or someone’s ear.

Like it literally does nothing, it’s just a random body part.

If it’s someone I’ve already been intimate with then that’s different, but a random man no way.

If you googled penis’s now, would you get turned on by them?

Well I am not going to go googling!

But to me a cock is very different to a kneecap etc. A cock is inherently erotic - a kneecap could be, but usually isn't.

Why, I guess it's hard to explain... because I like them as a part of sex irl, because it's the slight thrill of seeing something that is usually hidden...

Very hard to define tbh.

Waitingfordoggo · 09/04/2026 21:05

I’ve never been sent a dick pic. When I was young and attractive, the only place you would find dick pics were gay male porn mags, which I obviously didn’t look at.

And now we’ve got digital
photos and the internet and all that and I’m too old and invisible to be sent a dick pic- which is absolutely fine by me. I don’t really find them sexy in the flesh either- they’re just comical.

babyproblems · 09/04/2026 21:06

@Tacohill “he sent me one on the first day! made me laugh so much. I’m sorry that happened but omg hilarious. He must have been waiting so long to send it to you imagining how happy it would finally make you (and him).. the mind boggles 🤣

I feel the exact same, it may as well be a photo of a rock like it just does nothing for me

OMG! What? WTAF?!?! Did you tell your colleagues? I’d have been tempted to frame it and stick it on the record shop wall in a kind of “do you know who owns this penis? Please tell them they are BANNED!” Way!

God no. They might as well send me a picture of their thumb or knee. I am straight but find women’s bodies much sexier in photos. I can only get turned on by a man if there’s conversation or touch involved. Their dick does nothing for my brain in that sense.

I think it goes along with men's obsession with the size of their testicles. "Have you got the balls" "he has big kahunas" etc. as if ANY woman would consider ball size at all relevant in their choice of partner. If anything smaller is better surely? Less flapping about!

I think us ladies like a bit of mystery.

Having said that, that old picture of Terry Wogan in some very revealing tight trousers, which we used to scrutinise on MN in the olde days, did get me a little bit high-pitched.

This is exactly it! I like a bit of something left to the imagination. Seeing someone's manhood in tight clothing is so much more attractive than an outright penis I'm sorry but it's true

A lot of them aren’t capable of seeing from someone else’s point of view. They know that they would be aroused if a woman sent them a photo of her vulva so they assume the same is true in reverse. But to persist with it, presumably to not much positive response, just makes them look really quite stupid, IMO.

PullyDog · 09/04/2026 21:09

Someone wrote my name on it once. In normal pen, not even a soft tip. I was curious for a minute I won't lie.

But otherwise no

SwatTheTwit · 09/04/2026 21:09

No. Maybe if it was my boyfriend’s because of the wider context, but even then I’d much rather get a nice full photo of him.

Yeah ngl I did love exchanging photos with people when in the dating pool. Since I was far too young really.

I love exchanging photos with DH and literally if he sent me a picture of his erection in the middle of.the day I'd get a thrill.

I get that most women dont and men obviously shouldn't send unsolicited dick pics but to answer your question, yes I find receiving dirty pictures a turn on.

If someone i wasn't even talking to sent me one I wouldn't though, if there'd been no flirting or attraction.

I can get that when its a long term partner some women would find it attractive, but idk just a photo of a lone penis just doesn't do it for me. Its kind of like looking at a photo of a soldier standing to attention ready to go to war and its just too aggressive my delicate eyes
