My sister’s son is the result of a long running affair with her business partner. Both of them are married. Neither spouse knows. She often takes her son to meet her business partner and his children in the park.

When my FWB took me out for lunch on my birthday. Two senior male colleagues were having a very romantic lunch. They didn’t see me, but I saw them.

I know someone who was the innocent spouse in this kind of situation, believing the child was his until he discovered the truth. It was utterly, unalterably devastating for him - it sent him on a very destructive spiral and he’s not the same person any longer. It was awful to witness.

We all have very low contact with her but heartily disapprove- not least because our Dad destroyed our parents’ marriage after multiple affairs and a second family.

My sil kissed her husbands brother - I know as I saw them- it was last summer after a barbecue. They were wrapped around each other and honestly once The kiss stopped the look they give each other let me know it’s not a once off. I’ve told no one and they don’t know I saw.

So you know but your BIL doesn’t? I bet that makes family gatherings awkward.

Seemingly nice, pillar of the community type older man I was in the same club as was caught with the worst sort of computer images earlier this year.
He died before justice was served.

My upstairs neighbour uses prostitutes regularly.

So the child is being lied to by all of you.

Guy across the road is a real fitness fanatic, as is his wife. But every Wednesday afternoon, without fail, Dominos turns up with two large pizzas when I know he’s home alone, working. A few hours later, he emerges with the boxes and puts them in the bin, having polished off the lot. His wife is non the wiser.

I can't remember now if I posted this on the last thread but one of my best friends exes (dad to her 2 kids) was seen down the garden at a mutual friends party getting intimate with two biological males (one a translady and one a man who was known to be bisexual and in an open marriage). But friend's ex is a real ladies' man so I was very surprised. The mutual friend/hostess was the one who caught them and asked me and another friend if she should tell best friend. We agreed not, though if he was still her current partner my answer would have been different.
