One of my favourites I don't think made it to classics, it was in the litter tray so not a huge audience - the op was a mum to a toddler who very reluctantly took in an feral kitten one rainy night and found herself managing said toddler, husband with man flu and the chaos kitten.

You could 'hear' her very unwillingly falling in love with it. Think her daughter insisted it was named after pepper pig

Another funny thread, which I can’t remember the title of, did make me laugh a lot. Along the lines of embarrassing/misunderstood moments.

It had someone that bit down on their dentist’s finger. And a woman who, when asked to place a hand on baby’s head and stomach did so with the baby’s hands - or something along those lines.

I made the mistake of googling penguin bollards during that thread and ended up with adverts for parking bollards on my social media for months.

The 'snapped and farted' was so funny because everyone assumed she made a typo and then she came back and said 'I have IBS'.

To be fair with ibs I can see how one would fart during an argument … but it’s the irrelevance of it, I mean why would you even mention that part?? 😂😂

I think the funniest thread title I’ve seen was “AIBU to think the estate agent is screwing my mother”. There were some great replies too along the lines of “well they’re both adults”.

The whiny tinker one still makes me snort with laughter. The OP was in a waiting room and meant to call her child a whiny little tinker, but actually called him a tiny little wanker.

I loved the thread when the OP was disagreeing with statements about Canada all the way through the thread and telling everyone they knew nothing about Canada, until one very patient poster who had started off being helpful about said Canada and was repeatedly told she was wrong by the OP, said "I AM Canadian"

Anyone remember the thread where the OP was asked to take crisps to the school party so she took the packets out of a multipack and spread them on a plate covered with cling film - after which she suffered ongoing bullying from the other parents over it? It was bizarre! I think they were wotsits 😂
