To cringe when middle class women swear

On Mumsnet at least they use embarrassing words like 'cockwomble' and think it's edgy. Only working and upper class people sound right swearing.

Hmmm yes but other countries have the caste system or hate travelling communities or hillbillies. Some have people living in slums - seems similar to me.

Fair point

Anyone who identifies themselves as middle class is cringeworthy fullstop.

I personally find the ones who bang on about being working class because their grandpa was a builder more cringeworthy especially the ones who angle it as a sob story while earning way more than the average person.

In all honesty I find most people who go around saying they’re middle class are actually working class and vice versa.

But let them have it, you can identify as anything these days

Well, swearing can be yuck to some, but it doesn’t matter about how people view what class they think they are. 🤷‍♀️

On a side note I’m sorry this is sexist but I cringe so hard when women say “mate”. Especially more “posh” women.

No posh woman has ever addressed anyone as ‘mate’.

I personally know one. It’s absolutely horrifically cringe. I also know loads of non posh women who say mate even calling their children mate and I’m sorry but it’s also cringe 😬

Your post reminds of the Hotel Inspector when Alex Polizzi is allowed one swearing tirade each episode.
"Put the Fucking towels in the bathroom not on the bed made up as fucking swans darrrling"
