How much I hate Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.
I mean (controversial) I always have. But now I hate it even more.

It’s a good song but deeply overplayed / overused.

It’s really traumatic for me. I had a TFMR last year and when I got in my uber home afterwards that song came on the radio and it made me sob. Every time I hear it it makes me feel like I’m back in that moment of absolute despair. I have been avoiding social media lately due to it

It is just dull dirge to me. My radio station of choice is absolute radio 90’s and it’s the only song that makes me change channel.

it's cheesy, their voices are awful to listen to, the melody is awful. just all round dreadful.

Aww it’s got such sad memories for me. It was my sister and her boyfriend’s song when they were 17. He sadly passed away of leukaemia just before she was due to start uni. It was played at his funeral. 20 years later and I still tear up when I hear it.
