Anonymous valentines card from a woman in my street

I’ve just received an anonymous valentines card from a woman in my street. The card had a stamp on it and it said “The woman within” and my address! The card mentions her seeing me walking to my bus and how she waits for her husband and kids to go out and…well! She says she’s bisexual and she goes into detail about what she wants to do to me…omg!

The card was posted first class, why pay for a stamp lol. Could this be a hoax? It was quite specific about seeing me walking to my bus.

I’m separated from my ex - could it be him or his family playing a prank? Or do I have a randy, bisexual neighbour??

I dunno what to think! 🙈

Sounds like your ex playing a prank or some bored local teenagers, I would ignore it.

Why would she a) post it with a stamp if she lives in your street and b) send you a Valentine’s card three days before Valentine’s Day?

It’s also really fucking creepy and stalkerish for someone you don’t know to stare at you on your way to work and then send you a sexually explicit card. If the card had said it was from a bloke - especially a married father - people would be rightly accusing him of stalking and sexual harassment.

So yeah, either it’s a weird prank or we’re in Baby Reindeer territory. Or this thread’s bollocks.

I’m not sure about my ex sending it but his family are pretty unhinged! It’s so weird, I really dunno what to make of it. I think it’s unlikely that it’s actually a neighbour plus I mostly look like a scruff walking to my bus and not sexually alluring in the slightest ha ha.

Women, on the whole, don't talk sexually about a person with our some form of consent. Hence why I solicited dick picks are much more of a thing than unsolicited vulva pics. Guarantee a man wrote that card.

If I were to do this, I wouldn't because I'm not unhinged, I'd deffo post it. Imagine if you went to put it through the door and the person answered the door mortifying.

Yeah it was explicit. On the front it said “knob of butter” with a butter Willy lol. So weird for a woman to send another woman a card with a willy on it! If it had said - I’ve seen you walking to your bus and I want to say you are very cute/pretty that wouldn’t be so bad but it was graphic!

You should write cards for all your neighbours saying pls don't sexually harras me via shit valentine's cards. Ta. Then watch the local nosey parkers explode with the gossip opportunities

I think, given your update re the picture on the card, that it was definitely from a man. I don't know how amicable your split has been, but my divorce was very acrimonious and my H became very unhinged. We had a lovely friendly group of neighbours in our cul de sac,went to the pub quiz, had street parties etc. My H used to write emails from a fake account to some of them about my dangerous man-eating tendencies, and how I shagged anything that moved.
So maybe this is your H doing the same sort of thing?

Could be your ex, or ex FIL/BIL if they are bitter and hate your guts? More likely to be a man on your street though thinking he is being clever, so he gets to knock one out thinking about you getting that card.

We have a village FB group and I would post pics of it (inside and out) with "To whoever sent me this, I am not interested and will report any further contact to the police. Its clear that this was written by a man pretending to be a woman, I am not sure you wife would appreciate you sending this to me!" then let the jungle drums do their thing!

She's rubbish at being anonymous isn't she? On top of the fact she's not very economical.

What did it actually say inside? Do you know which neighbour you think it is? Was it posted, or just stamped and put through your door?
If they're serious, are you just supposed to guess who sent it?!
