Anonymous valentines card from a woman in my street

I’ve just received an anonymous valentines card from a woman in my street. The card had a stamp on it and it said “The woman within” and my address! The card mentions her seeing me walking to my bus and how she waits for her husband and kids to go out and…well! She says she’s bisexual and she goes into detail about what she wants to do to me…omg!

The card was posted first class, why pay for a stamp lol. Could this be a hoax? It was quite specific about seeing me walking to my bus.

I’m separated from my ex - could it be him or his family playing a prank? Or do I have a randy, bisexual neighbour??

I dunno what to think! 🙈

That's definitely not from a woman is it? It's from an extremely thick man who couldn't even work out that a woman probably wouldn't reference dicks when sending a card like that to another woman. It's someone who knows you get the bus so they must know you in some capacity - that's creepy.

I think you would be surprised what unhinged behaviour you get from people you know.

Just off the top of my head:
my ex husband (a secondary teacher) sent me a few cards one was a sympathy card, no one had died, one was a get well soon card, one was a good luck card. All were signed from different people. The police were not interested at all.

A woman who was the ex wife of a guy I dated sent me cards birthday and Christmas - she also smashed my car up. None of it could be proven and after I got cameras.

Ugh! Sounds like something a man would write. Basically putting his fantasies to paper. Bin.

It's giving me teenage boy who has been on the internet too much vibes. If you know who is supposed to come from, I would go and see them and say that you know it is a prank and you suspect some local teenager but just making them aware of it - they might have sent her one from you!

To top it all, it isn't even Valentine's Day for a couple of days!

Is your ex local? If it was posted and you still have the envelope check the postmark printed on it! May give you more clues!

Whether it’s a man or woman it’s creepy as fuck. I’d keep it in a drawer for ‘evidence’ in case the person does something else unhinged.

I'd be tempted to raise it with the police, as a precautionary measure so that there is a record, it says they watch you walking to the bus, and before everyone jumps on me saying i'm over reacting, i got stalked by an ex for 6 months, it may seem trivial now but it could be the start of something

Valentines are supposed to be anonymous.

On the assumption it's legit, you need to decide if you are outraged or flattered, if you are interested or not and have an intention to respond or not - or sleuth a bit!

Might just be her, might be her and her husband. They might be sex people and using the female to butter you up...

Now. If you can get a GoPro or similar and film your walk to the bus stop you may be able to spot her, she will be looking if she is real. Then you can decide how to proceed..

A few years ago when my husband and I were still together I confided in him saying I did not identify as 100% straight, when we got together he knew I had kissed a few women in the past. He reacted very badly and started listing all these highly graphic sexual stuff saying would you do that? Not in a curious way but in a nasty, intimidating way. He then said he had to text his mother, I begged him to keep it confidential or if he had to just talk to his friends, not his mother. So I’m wondering if it’s her or his family as I’ve since left him?
