I do take online bullying seriously and I’ve seen a lot of nasty and presumptuous insults fired at NP.

Does a child choose fame though if they’re born into that life? You could argue that he chooses it as an adult but that’s been his whole life. You could say he chose to go public with his family issues but maybe he’s not in a good place mentally. I doubt he’s decided to out his parents because he’s bored or because NP is sat behind him encouraging him to.

That only shows that VB and DB have chosen a high level of fame, not that BB has chosen that. Despite that I don’t think it’s okay for people to fire attacks on them either even if they’ve chosen to be public figures. I guess I just have a bit of a black and white view on how you treat people and, for me, that doesn’t go out the window because you’re rich and famous.

I’m not sure why the Beckham’s would put a statement out BB has made it clear that he wants no reconciliation and if they did comment they would only get accused of overstepping the boundaries. Silence is the best approach and when things have calmed down maybe going through a grandparent to see if he was willing to talk.

The whole debacle seems to be about money and if NP wasn’t the daughter of a billionaire I don’t think we would be having this conversation.

Not that anybody cares, least of all the glittery characters in question, but I don't feel hostile to any of them. I think Nicola and Brooklyn seem pathetic, frittering their limitless opportunities on egotistical nonsense, and Brooklyn does strike me as sharing Harry Windsor's faults/errors. Nelson doesn't strike me as a nice man at all. Victoria and David I can understand, mistakes and all. Don't know anything about Claudia: given her astonishing appearance, she must spend most of her life hidden away in clinics and salons.

Thing is the more bad stories that get printed about Bb and Np the more Bb can feel or even prove he is right.

So either the press are printing bs wanting to just stir the pot and d&v are staying silent rather than calling it out or D&V are doing exactly what he claimed.

I’ve never said I’m not remotely interested, quite the opposite. My interest is in the reactions to the drama rather than the drama itself so of course I’m aware of some of the details of the situation. It was clear from my first comment that I knew about the situation. Almost everything I’ve said is about the response to it.

I’ve just read the Tom Bowers book - it’s a good read. I am now very much team Brooklyn.
i don’t think there will be a statement as such but I can already see that there are articles in the press dissing NPB and how controlling etc she and her family are.
Having read ‘House of Beckham’ I’m pretty sure these will have been put there by the Beckhams PR machine. They will do anything to preserve brand Beckham.

I'm talking about their reaction to this, happening now. If they've got any sense they'll continue to say nothing much about it and if they do speak they should pick their words very carefully and keep their statement short and dignified.

I think they'll stay silent. None of BBs statement rings true. I think Nicola wrote it. If the wedding had really been the catalyst then he'd have cut ties then, not 3 years down the line. His social media posts to his family after the wedding tell a very different story.
