Where is it?

Will they even do one?

Has anyone changed their initial viewpoint on the whole thing?

And lastly….Team Brooklyn or Team Beckham?

Mar a Lago is the dodgy side of Palm Beech.

Nobody from actual Palm Beech would be caught dead there.

"the highest echelons of the Palm Beach season, like parties Mar a Lago
This is so wrong I don't even know where to start.

Parties in Mar a Lago are more like The Only Way is Essex than an upper class thing.

Palm Beech itself is, and always was, a very rich Protestant enclave (WASP). The people who have houses there, and who go for the "season" are so rich we don't know their names. They are those gazillionaire, generational wealth, American families who spend a lot of money to make sure they are never heard of. They socialize among themselves and have a closed shop, much like aristocracy here.

No Jews, Catholics, Blacks, Latinos, nouveau riche, working classes, middle class etc. were allowed join their country clubs in the past, and I suspect that it is still quite exclusionary. They probably set an entrance palaver that would be hard to accomplish, like a variety of nominations and a terrifying fee structure, or some such.

Over the years, other groups created their own enclaves in Palm Beech - the Jewish community opened their own country clubs, and now have a strong, and extremely wealthy community there (like the Peltz family). Ditto other groups.

Mar a Lago is not only not any of the above, but it is quite a drive away. About 45 minutes.

As with everything Trump - it is almost but not quite.

And the devil is very much in the details...

Well said. She could have just ignored your thread, providing she has a life of own 😉

It was a joke because of how ridiculous the original post was. Well done if you read it and didn’t feel amused by the urgency of it.

I find it interesting that people think it’s a conspiracy theory. I don’t care if NP is manipulative or if VB is planning a response. What kind of person truly cares what strangers do? I find responses to this kind of thing interesting and I think it’s hideous the attacks people like BB and NP receive because nosy trolls know best. It’s been compared to the Harry and Meghan situation and I agree, but not because I claim to know more than we actually know but because people are vile about it all.

Who is saying it’s a conspiracy theory? You seem to be taking this very seriously….

I think BB took an awful lot of flak from the Peltz's for their daughter getting so upset at the wedding. To be fair he was caught between a rock and a hard place with that dance. MA made a mess of it but VB could have rectified things too.

I would say a clash of cultures has a lot to do with it too. The reserved, snobby Peltz's and the Beckham's, nouveau rich etc.

I would say there was pressure from them to distance himself from his family. You're either in or you're out BB!

user1471497170 · 24/01/2026 09:54

I personally couldn't care less if my mother in law wanted the first dance with my husband. Would probably laugh. These people are very precious and princess like. It sounds like a blunder from MA. VB was put on the spot and NP overreacted.

I'd be the same, I wouldn't give a toss but not everyone is like that.

I'd say there are a lot of self absorbed people involved here.

I just hope that other celebrities will think again when using their kids as part of a brand.

Parliament is debating a social media ban for kids under sixteen, parents should definitely be banned from using them as PR.

I think you’re right the vow renewal an attempt to put things right. I wonder if the Peltz family don’t feel totally accepted themselves by a tiny conservative elite in Palm Beach?

The dance issue may have been a final straw for BB & caused him to reflect on his life to date. It sounds like his career can finally really gain traction with Pelz help & he can gain the respect that’s been missing more easily in the USA?

VB perhaps tried to insert herself into the wedding & inappropriately control things if wedding texts are anything to go by. A letter to Nicola to apologise for misunderstanding a start maybe (?) & perhaps she tried.

I don't understand American social circles, so I wouldn't have a clue where they fit in.

I would say how the Beckham's make their money etc might be looked down upon, who knows.

Exactly, you don’t know. I agree.

It’s a figure of speech.

My feeling is the conservative elite might look down on the Peltz family but I don’t know Palm
Beach society. A PP looked to have an inside track on it or a good understanding.

Could it be the Peltz family look down themselves on the gauche Beckhams as they see it with their faux pas etc? A clash of cultures, as someone said.

@Williteverstopraininghey had an interesting insight & does seem to know so it would be good for her to clarify further.

Sometimes the worst snobs are those who feel slighted by those higher up the ladder themselves. As someone said s clash of cultures. If, as I suspect, this dance was an expected wedding gift/surprise for BB from VB it landed very badly. The ‘most beautiful in room’ remark added fuel to flame.

Yes, in response to your rude comments…! Literally nobody else is doing that, they’re here about this discussion as they’re interested in it, if you’re not then jog on and don’t put people down and ask if they have a life because they start or post on a thread, isn’t that a waste of your clearly packed life?

Is that all you have? Newsflash: that wasn’t the gotcha you hoped for. Kevin Spacey hasn’t been found guilty of any of the sexual misconduct crimes he was accused of and at least one of he lawsuits was thrown out.

A Bower response posted on another Beckham thread. A good summary.

Nicola was the the only woman the Beckhams couldn’t buy it seems & her family offer BB freedom to find his own way.

VB sounds like a Mum trying her best using photography contacts to try to get BB work at BMW etc. Brand Beckham got so big. Power addictive. Everything so public. The Peltz fam being much more selective over what’s shared. The Beckhams could stop but they want to be as respected and rich as the billionaires.

NeelyOHara · 24/01/2026 11:39

Jesus, I see the Beckhams have planted several more stories in the Mail today. One about how they are prepared to ‘take him back’, and another about what a hideous monster Nicola is. And she’s fame hungry. Unlike the Beckhams.

They simply can’t let it be, they can’t stop proving Brooklyns point.
