To wonder if past trauma was a factor in the Renee Nicole Good murder and that, while not absolving agent, it shows ICE should select agents more carefully?

Reading this from the BBC, I wonder if the agent was suffering from previous trauma. They had earlier been in the Iraq War and then had huge number of stitches after being dragged by a car while arresting apparently a 'child sex offender' illicit migrant last March.

Thus I wonder if, because Renee Good clipped them with the car earlier(as The Times indicates), shooting at her car as she drove past was less a rational decision borne from evil and more an instinctive reaction from recent trauma with cars on the job?

This is NOT an excuse. But I wonder if it also shows that ICE are selecting traumatised agents who are too dangerous, due to this, to be in that position?

How much do you know about what is going on? The snatching up of children by skin colour, people being dragged from cars having heads knelt on and faces kneed? The detaining of native Americans for days and not letting anubody inform family, get legal representation etc?

They are not just rounding up illegal immigrants they are rounding up anyone who doesnt fit their idea of american including native ammericans beating them and detaining them for days. A few have died, at least 2 have been blinded, a 6 month old baby snd its siblings were tear gassed and rushed to hospital protestors trying to get the names of the people being taken so that they can let the families know are being braten and detained. The agents dont have paperwork or warrents and are hiding behind masks. To the people on the street including the school girl going home who was snatched it must feel very scary and certainly looks similar to the early snatching of the Nazis

So the American nationals are just colllateral damage becouse they look foreign and despite having paperwork were not believed.

Yes I think potentially there could be a case for this but it’s impossible to say- he had been ran over and seriously injured recently enough, that there is an argument to be had that when they car started moving he panicked- the only think that makes this less likely for me though, was the ‘fucking bitch’ comment immediately after shooting her. He knew he’d shot her. That was his first response to knowing he had at the very least injured if not killed someone.

He was at the side of the car filming her she called out to him its okay im not mad at you he then changed hands and drew his gun his legs are visabled to the side of the car he fired 3 times twice when the car was passed him. There are sycronised videos that show it from several angles.
He may have had trauma but then he shouldn't have been working. At least twice that car was no threat to him and they are the shots that killed her.
The ice agents are not police and should not be detaining people without warrents but they havent got them. Their numbers have been massivley increased to meet the targets and to do so the training and vetting has been cut drastically. There was a four week internet course and an 8 week in person one for people without any experience including in law and weapons. There have been suggestions of errors in the vetting. The government have prevented local law enforcement (not part of ice or envolved in the killing) from investigating and immediately said he was innocent before any investigation was even started. They said the car struck him and he went to hospital but there is film of him walking away....to put any credibility to the argument there should be independent investifation.

Its sad open debate cant happen but its typical of the political climate in the US to claim fake news, lies or deflect which prevents truth coming out every time that man has no answer he screams fake news. There is a famous saying about Evil needing good men to do nothing the protests over ice are good men trying to stand against injustice.

Not everyone is an illegal, not everyone is a criminal, and many of the illegal ones have been working paying taxes for years ....they have come to a country run by ancestors who were immigrants. Some of the people they are pursecuting include Native Americans. Strangley since Trump stepped up the violence less is being said about releasing the Epstien files. No matter what is proved a lie like bleach and paracetamol some blindly accept the mans word as truth but hes like a toddler i want it ill take it and ill throw every toy until i get it....this is another of his toys and he doesn't care who it hurts.

Recently, I’ve been often been thinking of the saying something along the lines of wondering what you would’ve done had you been in Nazi Germany in the late 1930s. I suppose we’re finding out now we would or wouldn’t have done.

A vast amount of people also misunderstand or willfully misunderstand the very complex process that must be followed to become legal in many of these cases. So many of these people have been trying to follow the process for a number of years. There’s a reason so many of them have actually been picked up at one of their Homeland Security appointments. I mean, they are actually going to appointments and being picked up there.

It’s far from the simplistic situation that people like to imply.

Many are being dragged out of shops, resteraunts, schools, cars and streets and being taken off becouse they havent got the ID on them that the law says citizens dont have to carry. They have been kept for days before being released in one family reported the victim as a missing person and ICE lied to the police about having him. Proper legal protocol isnt being followed yet people are saying dont go near the protests...well if its in your street, supermarket or school when ICE turns up being followed by the protests its hard to be out of the way. Evil needs to be witnessed.
