Ice agent shoots a woman in the face part 3

1000 replies

Moontan · 09/01/2026 15:35

Donald Trump has now said its okay to murder a woman. Because they are doing it for people's 'safety'

It is interesting how far humans will let themselves be abused by bad people.

I was watching a documentary about jonestown the cult.

Some people left the cult

They said that the leader beat people, raped people, starved people. He made them do physical labour for many hours a day. He demanded that they give him all of their money.

And yet still hundreds of people followed him.

People seem to keep supporting a person and staying there. Rather than saying "maybe i was wrong and this guy is actually a bad person"

Ah right. So ice agents should just accept these people driving at them. If they get injured or killed, then just deal with it and consider it part of their job.

Luckily no ice agents were hurt and hopefully of people will think before they try using their cars as deadly weapons against law enforcement in the future.

How do you get “so the agents should just accept people driving at them?” from what I posted? Let me spell it out for you again.

of course he is entitled to defend himself. But it was not self defence because shooting the driver would not have saved him. Physics.

Hmmm. Who to believe. Random internetter Greenmouldycheese or the leading Canadian professor who has spent ten years studying car rammings, watching videos of over 500 incidents, and says this has none of their hallmarks.

It doesn't matter what you believe. The ice agent won't be prosecuted for this because they have their own experts on the situation who have viewed the footage.

I wouldn’t really donate to it, it’s not started by family. Her children may not see a dime.

Gofundme has verified it as legitimate. Anyway, it is now closed.

She wasn't driving at him though.

Perhaps if ice agents behaved in the professional manner a democratic country should accept as a bare minimum, they won't constantly find themselves in these situations.where they find people driving cars at them.

How many have been attacked by someone driving a car at them with clear intent to use the car as a deadly weapon?

Shakeoffyourchains · 10/01/2026 13:43

Just watched the video from the cold blooded murder's POV against an noticed this.

At the beginning of the encounter he has his phone in his right hand as he's walking around the vehicle. Only during the the confrontation with Renee's wife does he switch it to his lef, freeing up his right hand where his gun is.

You can then see from another video clip that his gun is already unholstered before Renee has even moved the car.

As soon as his ego was hurt by that big boy comment he was always planning on drawing and aiming that gun at someone.

CNN have doorbell/yard CCTV footage and have put it together.

Cell phone footage raises new questions about ICE agent’s tactics before fatal shooting | CNN

So it's looking like Good and her wife are driving around the area, basically playing cat and mouse with ICE.

I suspect, although not in the CNN vid, as part of a social media group. I think that is a reasonable assumption.

From watching the CNN vid, the shooter was frustrated, and he had decided that she was not going to drive off up the road to try blocking it further up. HE was not going to play cat and mouse again. HE was going to stop it. He would step in front of her car, and HE "would take her out".

What should ICE have done, in my opinion, when confronted with a couple of female protestors who were getting in their way ?

How about ICE pull up, and call the REAL COPS to come and deal with these women, who it appears ICE had no idea how to deal with ?

ICE can detain those who impede their activities. She shouldn’t be following them around, should she?

The consequences of her decisions were grave, to say the least

Absolutely not appropriate, however, do we honestly believe that someone so triggered by moving vehicles that they lose all sense of reasonableness, would deliberately place themselves in the path of a moving SUV or even in the path of an SUV where a woman who has been "harassing him all day" has the keys in the ignition and the engine running?

Would he not stay at the side of the vehicle where he originally was when his fellow thugs joined the fray? SUVs, to my knowledge, cannot move sideways, so he was perfectly safe by the driver's window where he was before he stepped forward and drew his gun.

Why did he approach at all if cars made him so nervous? He had no reason to. The car that stopped to back him up could have driven past as the one before it did.

I've had bad experiences with hamsters, evil little shits that they are. I don't know if I would go so far as to say I have PTSD, but they make me nervous when they're scurrying around freely. I happened across a bunch of free-range hamsters. My instinct would be to run away from them, not towards them.

I think we are agreeing here. He should never have been there in the first place. His being there resulted in an unlawful killing.

Greenmouldycheese · 10/01/2026 13:23

They are motherless because of her own reckless behaviour. She should have though of them before she did any of this but she didn't. The ice agent could have children too and he shouldn't be put in harms way for simply doing his job.

If I had 3 kids I wouldn’t be out taunting armed officers in a country known for law enforcement killing civilians. She was being cocky & engaging with them she could’ve avoided all of this.

Her kids have lifelong trauma now so great result there, round of applause.

They say bleed the blue and I hope it was worth it for them as a family.

He won’t be prosecuted because extremely senior political figures have stated - before any analysis or forensics had happened - that he was right in his actions

Do you agree that there would have been a better chance of a fair outcome (which might well have been an acquittal) had those speedy statements been ones about a careful investigation?

LlttledrummergirI · 10/01/2026 13:47

Greenmouldycheese · 10/01/2026 13:36

She wasn't just sitting in her car though was she? She excellerated and drive while he was standing infront of the car. She did way more than protest and sit in her car.

She accelerated after she was shot in the head, and even then she missed the angry man who was apparently in fear of his life.

She accelerated beforehand. You can hear the engine and see the wheels spinning. Shots only came as he was hit, slightly following actually

She ignored federal agents and drove at them. THAT is a very bad decision.

ScaredOfFlying · 10/01/2026 13:49

BookAndPiano · 10/01/2026 13:39

We do and in this case, we can see that this unfortunate woman put herself in harm's way.

She was there to protest, to cause difficulty-it wasn't rocket science to work out that this plan would draw the attention of armed men, men that she was was trying to prevent from dong their legal job.

She was entitled to protest-although not to prevent- but in any case, how many of us, here on Mumsnet, would not get out of a car if ordered to do by police. We would do that because we wouldn't want to escalate the situation.

Why in God's name, did she not get out of the vehicle when told to do so, why did her wife think it was a good idea to encourage her in this and why did she think driving towards men with guns was an effective thing to do.

I feel for her and her family but is just as short sighted to claim that she was wholly innocent of playing a part in what befell her, as it is to say that the armed men were not at fault at all.

Like so much of our messy life, this was a messy situation.

Why don’t you understand that simply carrying a gun does not give a law enforcement officer carte blanche to execute someone who gets in their way?

SpaceRaccoon · 10/01/2026 13:50

LlttledrummergirI · 10/01/2026 13:36

So you are happy that anyone who tries to avoid being detained by unidentified men in masks to be summarily executed without due process by being shot in the head.

Understood.

I can completely understand wishing to avoid being detained by unidentified men in masks, but honestly the best way of ensuring that is not to turn up to where those men are, and engage with them in an antagonistic way.

Since when have Trump and Vance been experts in vehicular crime or police conduct?

Vance is a corporate lawyer, and Trump is a media personality and professional troll.

Since when has Trump been an expert in anything ? The bufoon can't even speak properly most of the time. He just mumbles incoherent bollocks and pre-written soundbites.

That's just ridiculous. Ice are there trying to make your streets safe again and you have these people causing problems all the time trying to cause harm and disruption. If you want a proper example of authoritarian than look at the UK and the mess it's in.

That’s exactly what they want- silence all opposition through fear. I agree that it is a very heavy price for her family to pay though.
