Ice agent shoots a woman in the face part 3

1000 replies

Moontan · 09/01/2026 15:35

Donald Trump has now said its okay to murder a woman. Because they are doing it for people's 'safety'

It is interesting how far humans will let themselves be abused by bad people.

I was watching a documentary about jonestown the cult.

Some people left the cult

They said that the leader beat people, raped people, starved people. He made them do physical labour for many hours a day. He demanded that they give him all of their money.

And yet still hundreds of people followed him.

People seem to keep supporting a person and staying there. Rather than saying "maybe i was wrong and this guy is actually a bad person"

@RingoJuice appears to be taking a page from Vance's playbook.

"Frey's opinion on the shooting is... What's your response?"
"Fraud! He committed fraud. It's all fraud."

"Would you agree ICE's training should be looked at?"
"Minnesota committed fraud. We need to investigate the fraud."

"So, I walked outside this morning and noted the sky was blue, would you agree?"
"Fraud! They did fraud."

It's like trying to hold a reasoned debate with a petulant toddler. It doesn't matter if Minnesota officials are suspected of fraud, you cannot go around shooting civilians and then stick your fingers in your ears and start singing la la la when you're asked to justify it.

Someone asked why they are in Minneapolis and I answer that question.

There is little to investigate. She looked straight at him and hit him with her car. Those consequences are on her. It’s tragic, but she should have just left her car.

Teddleshon1 · 10/01/2026 08:42

@Alexandra2001 No I don’t think gunning down a woman in a moving vehicle is the “right” thing to do but that’s not the question I asked.

Do you think ignoring clear and repeated instructions to get out of your vehicle by an armed officer who is standing in front of you and instead driving off is admirable or brave?

LizzieW1969 · 10/01/2026 08:42

Walkaround · 09/01/2026 23:49

And posts clearly suggesting she was asking for it. Victim blaming at its finest. Might as well justify domestic violence, too, while they’re at it.

Yes quite. One pp actually said, on one of these threads that they weren’t ‘sorry that she’s dead’. Regardless of whether or not anyone thinks she was reckless in her actions (though I don’t see how it could be possible to think the ICE officer’s life was in danger), it’s a tragedy for her DCs. Especially the 6 year old DS, who is now an orphan. So that was a disgraceful post.

RingoJuice · 10/01/2026 08:43

Alexandra2001 · 10/01/2026 08:40

Ok explains why they were there, doesn't explain why is was necessary to fire a further 2 shots into her head AFTER the car had passed him..

Thats assuming he genuinely feared for his life in the first instance.

Like i said, i was happy to reconsider my opinion on seeing the new footage but it shows nothing new.

You can have your opinions. Fact is, even a civilian would not be charged had this happened to them. It’s a clear case of self-defense. Even if the state prosecutor brought the case out of revenge, no jury is going to convict based on the latest footage

Shakeoffyourchains · 10/01/2026 08:45

You just know the people claiming Renee posed some kind of threat after watching all the footage are the the same people who cheered on the brown shirts and grassed in the their neighbours, friends and family 85 years ago.

He stood in front of the car, at most, the car glanced across him but that only because he decided to shoot, he had plenty of time to move out of the way had he wanted too.

Using the gun was his priority, hence 2 further shots AFTER he was in danger at all......

Again, can you answer why he was justified in these 2 additional shots?

When those armed officers are not police officers and are widely known to abuse their powers, wrongfully detain people, ignore due process and be extremely violent individuals, then yes it's an admirable and sensible thing to do.

Thats irrelevant... you may as well ask me if a woman walking home at night alone (and then attacked) was admirable or brave.

She has the right to protest, the agent exceeded his authority.

Unfortunately the fraud is widespread. Columbus Ohio has the second largest population of Somalis and the daycare scams are popping up there as well. Gov DeWine, a Republican, has denied it’s going on, but state legislators are trying to look into it.

You just aren’t hearing about much of this because Ohio authorities are generally cooperative with ICE.

Oh no! The Somali community in the US is responsible for all fraud! You must deport all Somalis! Don’t investigate Trump for fraud, he’s as honest as the day is long, not like crooked Hilary. Fraud is an immigration issue, don’t you know.

RedTagAlan · 10/01/2026 08:52

RingoJuice · 10/01/2026 08:22

Feeding our Future scam alone amounted to over 250 million dollars and 70 (at last count) co-defendants. That’s before the daycare and autism clinic scams …

Yup, Found guilty and jailed.

Without the need for Trumps new sycophant assistant AG.

Teddleshon1 · 10/01/2026 08:54

@Alexandra2001 really? You think ignoring clear instructions from an armed officer and instead driving towards them is analogous to a woman who is attacked while she is simply walking home? Renee wasn’t shot because she was protesting.

I have always drummed it into my children to immediately follow all instructions from police and other officers of the law and never do anything that could be interpreted as aggressive or evasive. It’s for their own safety which is my number one priority.

NotTerfNorCis · 10/01/2026 08:56

RingoJuice · 10/01/2026 08:09

They have stolen BILLIONS of dollars. It’s like saying ‘women rape too!’

By that argument, Somalis are responsible for 99% of fraud in America.

This is pure race hate.

Incidentally - you can keep claiming that Renee drove deliberately at her killer all you want. The video evidence shows otherwise. The vehicle was turning right. He'd positioned himself to the front left. He was able to move out the way and fire three times before she was even past him.

I work in crime and it’s definitely true that certain ethnicities or nationalities gravitate toward certain crimes (and this goes for whites as well). It makes sense as different countries round the world have problems with different types of crime. It’s not uniform the world over.

And that’s the tip of the iceberg. I think the AG is going to look into whether politicians knew about it, because they were getting campaign donations from these groups. Feeding our Future met with Minnesota AG, said they were facing racism and discrimination, complaining about oversight from state agencies. They donated to his campaign and other Democrat politicians.

But she doesn’t/didn’t have the right to obstruct a public highway.

You have the right to protest - not the right to protest however you like.

Walkaround · 10/01/2026 08:58

Dealing with Trump’s America is like dealing with the mob - they’ll clear out other low lives and anyone who questions their behaviour so that they don’t have competition for their own fraud, embezzlement and violence.

BurntBroccoli · 10/01/2026 08:58

I imagine it’s for their own protection. Would you want to arrest gang members and high level drug dealers without a gun over there? I wouldn’t.

By what? That billions have been stolen from taxpayers? One scam alone amount to over 250 million and 70+ defendants. Thats before we get into home health, daycare and autism clinic scams.

The disproportionality is disturbing

She has the right to protest, almost all protests involve blocking the highway.

Do you think Tractor drivers blocking the roads in London should be shot?

No of course not, so i ve no idea what point your trying to make... you seem to flip flop between justifying her death and condemning it...

SpaceRaccoon · 10/01/2026 09:02

NotTerfNorCis · 10/01/2026 08:03

the Somalis

Sounds like they are scapegoating a whole group (quite numerous in Minneapolis) for the actions of a few.

Is Trump cracking down on fraud, tax evasion and dishonesty in general? Seems not. This is more an excuse to go after a minority.

Tbf the Somali daycare fraud thing is wild. Absolutely staggering figures. I don't think pretending it's not a Somali-specific issue is helpful.

Then you prosecute the criminals, you don't carry out ethnic cleansing against an entire group.

She was not blocking the highway; another car drove by her seconds before the ICE vehicle stopped. She was clearly moving back and waving them past.

Regardless, you cannot shoot people because they commit a crime; pretending you can is setting a dangerous precedent. How far do we let it slide? "I'm sorry I shot this school-aged child, your honor, but he had no right to steal a Freddo from my shop."

If ICE believed Renee was committing a crime, they had every right to take down her license plate and ask the police to investigate/issue an arrest warrant. No one would have protested this. What they did not have the right to do was to summarily execute her.

Livelovebehappy · 10/01/2026 09:08

Walkaround · 10/01/2026 07:33

I refer you to my earlier point. What she did was not pointless - it would have been if she had been allowed to drive off, but instead she was shot in the face and killed, so tragically demonstrating that Trump swamping cities and states run by people he has a vendetta against with ICE agents on the back of unproven social media claims is aggressive, brutal and dangerous and ICE should not have been there behaving in that way.

But her initial action actually going there, blowing whistles to alert residents to ICE being there (i assume not needed as people would be well aware of their presence) and shouting goady words out of her car window, was pretty pointless. What followed of course is highlighting a huge lack of training, and problems withing ICE, but i guess paying for this with her life wasn't what she planned.
