If you have a 10 year old how old are you/how old was your mother when you were 10

I’m 26 with a 10 year old, but when I was 10 my mother was 50. Feels very strange, I remember being my son’s age and very aware my mother was way older than the other mothers.

I've had 10yr olds at 36, 40 and 41 and I will also have 10yr olds at 43, 48 and 52.

My Mum was 42 when I was 10.

I think 30 with a 10 year old was too young.
I think 40 with a 10 year old is ideal (and I'm not saying that because that was my choice!).
I think 50 with a 10 year old would be too old.

When I was 10, my mum was 38. When my DC1 was 10, I was 43. Not a massive difference.

I was 36, my mum was 47. She was older than the other mums but I never felt she was old or anything.
When my daughter was 10, she did think I was old because her friend's mum was 26. I pointed out that the friend's mum would have been 16 when she gave birth and my daughter was horrified at the thought of herself having a baby in 6 years time, so realised I wasn't too old by having a baby at 26 and that was more of a reasonable age in her mind.

My mum was also 36 when I was 10. She had my older sister at 23 though, and more children after me until she was 29.
