If you have a 10 year old how old are you/how old was your mother when you were 10

I’m 26 with a 10 year old, but when I was 10 my mother was 50. Feels very strange, I remember being my son’s age and very aware my mother was way older than the other mothers.

I was 34 with a 10 year old.

I was 10 and my mother was 32.

I’m 44 with a ten year old and my mum was the exact same age when I was ten (my ten year old is also my youngest and I was mum’s)

My DM only had me and she was 45 when I was 10, so a good 10yr difference at least with my DD.

A year out but I have an 11 year old and am 51, so same as your mum. (Defensively, I look younger than I am and am very young at heart which helps. Though her best friends mum is 15 years younger than me.)

Honestly I'd be devastated if my children became parents in their teens.

To be honest, it's far more common among people I know to have a baby at 40 than at 16. I wonder how your son will come to see that.

All my kids have the same dad which being rare these days should make up for how young I was when it comes to any playground teasing

I was 43 when my oldest was 10. My mother was 34 when her oldest was 10. My mother was not a regulated parent! I’m not sure I’d recommend young motherhood.

I was 40 and 43, my mum was 31, 35, and 37. Most of my DS’ friends’ parents are my age and older. My best friend will be 50 and 53.

39 and my youngest is 10 . My mum would have been 41 so not much difference
