If you have a 10 year old how old are you/how old was your mother when you were 10

I’m 26 with a 10 year old, but when I was 10 my mother was 50. Feels very strange, I remember being my son’s age and very aware my mother was way older than the other mothers.

45, but my mum was 31.

I was 42 and so was my mum.

I was 50 when my youngest was 10, same age my mother was when I was 10.

It was unusual then, not so much now

My Mum was 31 when I was 10.

I was 41 when my daughter was 10.

My Nan was 53 when my Mum was 10

All very different ages :)

I'm 39, mum would've been 33.

I'll be 37 with a 10 year old. My mum was 45 and 49 with a 10 year old. I was like you OP in thinking my mum was on the older side. I knew I wanted my children in my late 20s ideally.

My mother would have been 28 with a 10 and 8 year old.

Mum would have been 48.

I'll be 49.5 when my twins turn 10 and my Mum was 44.

My mother was 47 when i was 10 but looked amazing, and i look back at photos if her in her 50s and she's always looked fit and toned so i never felt she was older than other mothers. She was about 38 when her eldest was 10. I was 33 when my eldest was 10, and will be 43 when my youngest turns 10. Not much of a difference other than i have a long way to go to look as good as she did.

DH's mum however would have been 33. He can remember being at his mum's 30th birthday party!

Me 45, my mum was 35. I was the oldest of 3 though, my 10 year old is youngest of 3

When I had my first 10 year old I was 35 then 45 with my second. My mum was 30 when I was 10.

DM was 38 when I was 10, 41 when DSis was 10.

I was 48/51 when my children were 10.

My mum was 47 when I was 10. She was much older than the mums of all my friends. At the time, I was kind of embarrassed by how 'old' she was.
Now I have a 10 year old, I'm 46. I hope she doesn't feel the same way! It doesn't seem unusual at all these days.

she felt like an old mum to me, as all my friends mums were younger/ although she looked no where near her age

Me: I was 44 when my only ds was 10.
Mum: Mum was also 44 when I was 10 but I was her third.

I was 45 and 47. My mum was 35 when I was 10. She had died before my kids were 10.

I'll be 44 when DS turns 10. My mum was 37. Not a huge difference.

I don't have a 10 year old yet, but I will be 42 nearly 43 when she does turn 10. My mum was was 37/38 when I was 10, so not a massive difference to me.

Im 48, my mum was 40.

I have a 10 year old, I’m 36, had him at 25.

My mum had me at 29 therefore when I was 10 she was 39 & 40. She had her first child at 27 though.
