To ask you about toilet paper

What has happened to Andrex?? It’s so flimsy and yet expensive!! My friend suggested Aldi brand but they didn’t have any in stock today. Please share the brand that you recommend!

I was using Who Gives a Crap but couldn't justify the latest price increase.
I like Sainsburys best out of all the supermarket brands.

Tesco 6 ok of double length rolls. The quality of these isn’t so good now but thicker than Andrex.

Who Gives A Crap works for us. We get the bamboo one. Plus we get to feel smug and virtuous because they put half of their profit into providing toilet facilities etc in developing countries.

I just buy supermarket own, double rolls, claiming to be soft or what's on offer or branded if cheaper or the same price.

The only time anyone complained was when I bought Lidl's. It was rougher than Izal.

Another vote for sainsburys basics 4 pack double rolls. It doesn't have a silly scent and flushes easily.

Fancy quilted toilet roll just blocks my toilet.

Either Sainsbury's or Tesco double length rolls. I gave up on Andrex when it became so flimsy. I made a note of prices and number of sheets per roll in the various shops and got my calculator out! I should get out more...

We buy the back 18 roll packs from Home Bargains. Never had an issue with quality.

I use Bazoo , order them twice a year. Decent and made of bamboo so doesn’t create dust in bathroom. Very similar to who Gives a Crap but I find that brand name vulgar so looked for something else.

Haha love it, I also dislike the brand name and wouldn’t but from them just for that reason.

Isn't it THE most disappointing thing, when you see a really good deal on toilet paper and so you buy about a million rolls, get it home, and realise that the quality has gone down so far that you've now lumbered yourself with a huge quantity of nearly-useless toilet paper?

I'm currently working my way through to the end of a bulk buy of Andrex which is flimsy and you need to use loads of sheets just so your finger doesn't go through. It doesn't even make good nose-wipe material. I've got some Cushelle waiting to be opened and I can't wait - just hope that hasn't deteriorated so far that it's worthless.

We use Naked Paper (used to be Naked Sprout)
Love it. Bulk delivery so never run out, no individual wrappings, no bleach, don’t miss the dust we used to have all over the bathroom from other toilet rolls

Tescos cheapest. Anything fancy just to wipe my behind seems like a massive waste of money to me.

If you have to use a lot to get your bum clean, it’s not saving you money.

I used reusable cloth wipes when dc was in nappies and when they didn't need nappies I thought I'd try them on myself. I'm a total convert - they get you so much cleaner. I have a small wet bag in the bathroom for them.

I use Naked paper for guests.

Tesco one is good as is crushelle. Was given a sample of the who's gives a crap one and can't believe people buy it. It was rubbish. Watching as can't believe the price of toilet paper now.
