Do you shave your legs in the winter?

I last shaved my legs in September and won't shave them again until about April.

Yes I do. Every other day regardless of the season. I know lots of people who leave them over the winter but it makes me feel gross so I can’t.

PersephoneParlormaid · 07/12/2025 06:57

Yes.

MiddleAgedDread · 07/12/2025 06:57

Yes because otherwise they feel awful in tights and leggings.

Sally2791 · 07/12/2025 06:58

No, furry until shorts weather

Mikart · 07/12/2025 06:58

Lasered them 20 years ago.

MinnieMountain · 07/12/2025 07:00

Only if I’m going out out, when I tend to not wear tights with my dress.

Fedupofwimps · 07/12/2025 07:00

I don't shave anything, at all! I eplilate 😁

I go an awful lot longer in winter without bothering but the hair is fine and wispy anyway!

Meerkatmanor4 · 07/12/2025 07:01

Every day in the shower. Legs bits and bobs. Just habit. Chin hair plucked or epilated everyday too (epilated depending on length those suckers sprout overnight!). As you get older the hair gets fine and wispy like PP said.

WittyJadeStork · 07/12/2025 07:04

I don’t bother in winter

Justlostmybagel · 07/12/2025 07:04

Yes. I wouldn't like to go months without shaving. I'm hoping I can get them lasered eventually.

Twilightstarbright · 07/12/2025 07:09

Yes but I also get bikini waxes year around and shave my armpits regularly.

⬆️this! I used to shave all my adult life, but now epilate. I wish I’d done it sooner. My hair has become so much finer already so it doesn’t need to be done as often and it takes longer to grow back than shaving anyway. It’s loads cheaper, quicker and less messy than waxing at home. Probably cheaper than shaving tbh those razor blades are so expensive. Plus I’m clumsy so I often used to cut myself. No more!

pinkdelight · 07/12/2025 07:10

nope but I only do them about once a year anyway as fair and not hairy.

RacingAcrossTheSofa · 07/12/2025 07:11

Occasionally if I feel like it, not regularly as I would in summer.

Congratulations! I’m not jealous at all. Honest. 😆😉

I don't even shave my armpits in winter but they usually aren't exposed. I was putting the deccies up the other day though and was particularly hot so changed into a vest top. I told my husband I had big dick energy and my armpits were hairer than his and showed him and he said it looked like an ink cartridge had exploded under my armpit 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

MyPersonalExperience · 07/12/2025 07:22

I didn't but then I got blue lighted to hospital in my tatty nightie, no knickers and with hairy legs. My mum always used to say wear respectable knickers in case you get run over. I would add shaving legs to that advice...

Tis'reet....they'll have seen far, far worse!

I'm sure they were happier dealing with a slightly hairy woman in a tatty nightie than a drunk who had vomited all over themselves and shat their pants.

They were wonderful. I just hope I don't meet them under different circumstances. I have since bought a new nightie.

PollyBell · 07/12/2025 07:38

I have never shaved my legs or removed it any other way life is too short

shellyleppard · 07/12/2025 07:43

Not shaved mine for 4 year's...... single Pringle and not interested in dating again. Post menopausal so leg hair is fading naturally Lol

AprilinPortugal · 07/12/2025 07:46

I'm having them waxed for the work Christmas party otherwise I wouldn't bother. What is this epilator people are using?

Chiseltip · 07/12/2025 07:49

Everything. Everyday. A quick wizz all over with a razor only takes a minute.

There's no way I could go a week, let alone months, without shaving.

StillweriseLH · 07/12/2025 07:51

Yes. It’s part of self care and hygiene process for me.

I wax, epilate and trim my body hair, same as I have my head hair cut and I have good nails.

why would I only do those things 50% of the year? I do it for me as much as for appearance.

Crumpt · 07/12/2025 07:51

I'm surprised no one has said yes because they go swimming or do other exercise during the winter. I get far too hot in full length leggings. For that reason alone, yes. And also because I just feel a bit gross otherwise.
