Sorry for the Daily Fail link, but this is the third video I've seen over as many weeks with this woman acting oddly possessive over Arianna.

I think they are - sadly. No judgement to people who are on them - just don’t think it’s healthy if you are already thin. It’s filtering down so much. Off topic but why I think it’s really good that Kelly Brook isn’t succumbing to the pressure to use them (on I’m a Celeb currently & will be seen in a bikini at some stage).

I’ve been wondering about WLI, Motsi and Tess. Less so Claudia as she is so petite already. Tess as a taller, stronger build is definitely startlingly lean- hard to achieve.

Motsi looks beautiful, and I imagine feels a lot better. As a bigger busted woman, some of her outfits used to look uncomfortable. Obviously I’m projecting my own discomfort as a bigger woman with feeling trussed up in some clothes!

Agree OP. That woman is freakish. I cannot bear her.

And as for Michelle Obama bleating about all the barriers she has faced. It’s incredibly tone deaf. It doesn’t surprise me she’s jumped on the injection bandwagon. She’s a disgrace to my race IMO.

I have never seen anyone look as beautiful on weight loss drugs as Motsi does. So, I suspect that her weight loss is natural - all that dancing! I think she gained weight before because she had a baby (?).

As for the others - the jury is out. I hate seeing women make themselves so scrawny and then they lie and say they are naturally thin (I'm looking at you, Victoria Beckham). Naturally thin women don't look the way that they do.

Does anyone watch Selling Sunset (awful I know but we all have our guilty pleasures). One of the women on that has gained quite a bit of weight (she reckons about 40lbs) and looks absolutely gorgeous. We need to see more stories like this so that young women know that curviness is OK.

Sorry for the stream of thought, but I was thinking the other day that bmi as a way of categorising health may one day be abolished and that there will be other markers of health apart from weight. Some on MN opine about the normalisation of overweight, but perhaps it SHOULD be normalised because it's normal.

I agree. And mumsnetters are frequently competitively anorexic on weight loss threads, where 8 stone, size 8 posters chat about their pot belly and being tubby. As if.

I remember having conversations about the spice girls in the 90’s, with friends who declared that they weren’t underweight and it was just all the dancing they did.
I said that they probably had eating disorders.
It was denied by my friend and by the spice girls.
And years later, at least 3 of the spice girls, Mel C, Geri and Victoria Beckham, have all spoken publicly about their eating disorders.

I just saw pics of Michelle Yeoh and that is scary. I don't know what went down on the set of Wicked, but it has had a terrible affect on all these women.

Ariana has been a hugely successful world famous popstar in the years since the terror attack. It is only since Wicked that she has started behaving like a baby bird.

I am a fan of both of them and think they are both hugely talented people but their behaviour is undeniably weird. I don't see how that is offensive to you?

I just don't like to see women put other women down, or anyone for that matter. And before you tell me that no one's putting her down, yes they do.

This x a million! Chelsea on Selling Sunset looks amazing now she's gained 40lbs. I also think Kelly Brook looks absolutely gorgeous on I'm A Celeb. I've just been reading an article where Kelly says she has no plans to ever lose weight because when she was at her thinnest she was also at her unhappiest. That really struck a chord. When I was my slimmest I lived on my own, wasn't in a relationship – and I was really lonely. Now I'm three stone heavier with a loving partner and DD, living in my dream house and doing my dream job. Yet every day I feel bad about my weight because society pressures me to think I should. I'm an hourglass like Kelly with similar big boobs and instead of embracing my size I hide it under baggy clothes.

I'd love a new system to replace BMI too.

As for Ariana, she seems really fragile and I wouldn't be surprised if she has delayed PTSD from the bombing.

This can go both ways. I’m personally happiest and feel my most confident when I’m a size 10 (I’m 5 ft 7 so this is slim for my height). If I go much above this, my BMI also gets slightly high and I feel like shit.

They’re both weird but they are both accepting of each other’s weirdness so shrugs

Oh I'm definitely not happy with the bigger number on the scale! I feel enormous when I see how much I weigh. But if I don't think about it, I'm absolutely fine and just truck along with life. I do wonder if I have reverse body dysmorphia – I look in the mirror and think I look slim but the scale and my jean size tell me otherwise!

They both seem like complete narcs to me. My God, the attention seeking is off the charts.

AG clearly isn't comfortable in her own skin. She's always changing her look and voice (not in a 'refresh!' kind of way, but in an entirely different persona kind of way - look up her black fishing, Asian fishing phases etc.)

I do think that if she's not getting help, this latest incarnation might be her last. She looks desperately ill. Maybe Erivo is trying to support her but it just comes off as weird.

Cynthia got right between Ariana and that loon who tried to rush her in Singapore. She was properly using her body to shield Ariana. That was brave, he could have been armed or completely insane. I think that shows that whatever else is going on, she does genuinely care about Ariana and she's courageous.
