Sorry for the Daily Fail link, but this is the third video I've seen over as many weeks with this woman acting oddly possessive over Arianna.

Just to clarify, this is from the last film promo tour. It's an old clip that the daily fail are dragging up for no reason.

Cynthia is a bit bonkers but it's almost unavoidable in that world, and it's not surprising that they're closely bonded after working on those two blockbuster films, plus they just naturally really get on, which is great given the roles they're playing. Both hugely talented too.

I do worry a bit about how thin they both are, though. I know they're naturally slim built but they do seem to have had a lot taken out of them. I hope they're both OK.

They're both equally odd. And their 'friendship' is quite clearly manufactured, since they're never seen spending any time together outside of Wicked promos.

Some competitive undereating must have been going on during filming, because this pair, and Michelle Yeoh, now look like walking corpses.

One day someone will figure out why people on here insist on the faux hatred of daily mail. Every other link posted on here is from daily mail. Who do you need to pretend, OP, that you don’t read it. You do, just own it.

I think both of them are strange, it’s like they’re forcing the dynamic duo image.

Don’t understand why Michelle Obama is being mentioned on this thread, she looks amazing, and is a hugely intelligent women.

these two actresses are talented, but come across very very odd, and they do look under weight.

I expect she's being mentioned because she's lost weight and there was a bit of a segue into celebrities getting thinner

This wasn't about their weight. It was about Cynthias weird possessive attention seeking behaviour towards Ariana.

It comes across creepy and narcissistic.

Ariana Grande getting named in the OP when the at least equally (and imo more) talented Cynthia Erivo gets "this woman" speaks volumes.

The marketing for Wicked has admittedly been strange - they are clearly LARPing as their characters.

I thought she was very strange when she was on SCD earlier in the season, too. She brought no added value to the show and I don’t think she was in any way qualified to be there. A gimmick I hope they don’t repeat, and yes, both her and Ariana Grande seem to be unwell, physically and emotionally…

Didn't she just plant herself between Ariana and that loon in Singapore who launched himself at her? I thought that was brave, he could have been planning or carrying anything.

It's probably all part of the PR. There was lots of strangeness on the build up to the first film being released. It seems to be working well, I can't remember seeing another film spoken about as much as the Wicked ones have been.

Ariana is fave to win Best Supporting Oscar for her role. I think she is starving herself because she is trying to get the Audrey Hepburn biopic role. She looks totally different to her younger days
