To think that if you commit a male crime, you should do male time, even if you identify as a woman?

I know this is a sensitive topic but I’ve been thinking about how justice systems handle trans women who commit serious crimes, especially violent or sexual offences, and whether it’s fair to house them in women’s prisons. To me, if you were born male and commit a crime typically associated with male offenders, particularly one involving violence against women, it seems like common sense that you should serve time in a male facility. Identity doesn’t erase biology or risk in those cases.

A still pic isnt anything like seeing someone in real life. Gait/walk are very important differentiators of sex.

I would definitely agree that it's even more important that males be kept from females (inmates included) when they've committed violet crimes, but honestly, I think all biological males belong in a male prison. I don't care what they think they are, especially if they're criminals. They are male. That cannot be changed.

I also don't care if they 'pass' as female. Have male DNA? Don't want to go to prison for men? Don't commit the crime. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

What about intersex people who make up 1% of the global population? Have they got a particular walk too?

Thank you for this voice of reason. I'm very gender critical but no post operative transwoman who commits tax fraud 20 years after transitioning should be in a male prison. A violent or sexual crime should mean a male prison always

If you really do know someone with this abnormality you would know the correct term is DSD as Intersex dropped out of use 30 years ago at the request of those with the condition.

Plus if you were better informed you would know that every person with DSD is still either male or female - the presence of a Y chromosome determines a male, no Y = female.

That's why the term Intersex was dropped - because no-one is. Every single human is one or the other. No exceptions.

I doubt very much indeed that you know a person with a genuine DSD.

It’s irrelevant what crime they commit or whether they wore a dress and lipstick or whatever bollocks they identify as, at the time of the offence.

They can be born again Christians but they still need to be incarcerated in a men’s prison!!!

I doubt any trans women want to be in prison, one for women or otherwise. Just as most people don’t want to be in prison.
