I love it! I loved it when I was a child too. My (young adult) DCs wouldn't like it because they don't like anything with an alcohol taste. I was always happy as child in the 70s to eat brandy butter or other desserts with alcohol poured on them .

I was very excited to see it feature in our hotel ice cream selection this summer, love it. I ordered a rum and raisin pancake once but it was just a raisin pancake that came with a shot of rum, most disappointing.

People who pretend to like olives however…

Mmm me too, I love brandy butter. And cherry liquers. I don't drink alcohol, only eat it 😋
