Who the fuck would lie about shit this trivial in the belief that it would make them sound 'interesting'?!

I don't have a single favourite ice cream flavour but I do really like rum and raisin. I like any dessert food that tastes boozy, to be honest.

Always my first choice !!

And at the price of cones now, that would be expensive.

I keep raisins soaked in rum in a tiny tub in the fridge and add it to vanilla ice cream. It’s like an affogato.

I think it’s quite an old fashioned flavour, so not sure why anyone would claim to like it to appear interesting. Do you mean in a retro way?

We live near Beamish museum in the North East. We visited last week and I was SOOOO excited because they now have rum and raisin as one if the flavoured ice cream .
Im def not interesting and noone else knew what flavour I had anyway ( I also treated my self to a bar of Bournville old Jamaican choc bar today)

I like rum and raisin icecream. Why not? If I want it I will have it. Not sure why some people want to conceal this choice.

Brings back awful memories of driving through Pennsylvania with daughters in the back with huge cones of lurid blue, stinking bubble gum ice cream.
A fiend once requested a tasting of Norfolk lavender ice cream in Sheringham, she said it was like sucking your grandma's soap, she couldn't get rid of the taste all day.

Lime and tequila is my favourite sorbet from Sheringham though their blackcurrant is a close second favourite.

I LOVE rum and raisin. It’s one of my favourite flavours. I even make the Mary Berry super easy one sometimes. Not sure an icecream flavour makes you particularly interesting or not interesting though.

My DH hates it too if that makes you feel better op!

I love rum and raisin. When I can't get hold of it I have vanilla ice cream with sultanas (far superior imho) and a shot of amaretto, which is kind of similar.

At Christmas I like ice cream with some mincemeat (the sweet.mince pie kind!) and baileys stirred in.

@TaffyandTeenyTaffyI occasionally have vanilla with sultanas left over from Christmas previously soaked in rum or brandy, which I keep in a jar all year. And usually forget to use it, unless mil is visiting.
